MOLDFLOW ANNOUNCES ORGANIZATIONAL CHANGES TO INCREASE RESPONSIVENESS TO
CUSTOMER NEEDS.

(Shelton, Connecticut -- January 4, 1993) Hugh Henderson, Chief Executive
Officer of Moldflow Pty Ltd., today announced several major organizational
changes designed to focus the company's activities on meeting customer
needs. First of all, the worldwide product development and marketing
organization, headquartered in Kilsyth, Australia, has been reorganized
according to Total Quality Management (TQM) principles with product
managers assigned marketing and development responsibilities for each the
company's product lines. Secondly, the North American sales operation has
been re-deployed to satellite offices located near customer facilities
which will operate under the direction of Bill Hicock, who has been
promoted to V.P. of Sales and Marketing, based in Shelton, Connecticut.
Technical support operations will be concentrated in the Kalamazoo,
Michigan office which will be under the direction of Carol denOtter who
has been appointed Customer Support Coordinator. Finally, North American
financial matters will be handled by Kathy Goodwin, who will be Assistant
Treasurer and located in Kalamazoo.

While solid customer support has been integral to the success of Moldflow
in the past, the new moves are designed to further intensify this thrust,
according to Henderson. The satellite offices provide experienced
personnel within easy physical reach of key industries representing
existing and potential customers. The dedication of the Shelton,
Connecticut office to marketing, sales and customer service further
enhances this direction, Henderson said. The satellite offices will
further be able to dispatch after-sales assistance in the person of
sophisticated technical specialists now all centered in the company's
Kalamazoo office. These are people with an intimate knowledge of Moldflow
software's engineering capabilities and of industry needs. Their role is
to ensure that customers receive the maximum benefit from solutions which
the software facilitates. These include higher quality, productivity and
economy in plastics injection molding. The Kalamazoo office will soon be
operating a 24-hour hotline service to which customers will have direct
access.

Hicock states that, with this re-deployment to satellite offices and the
recent addition of 3 new area account managers, Moldflow North America can
now provide a proactive service and will be within easy reach of all major
customers in the country.

Moldflow has pioneered computerized analysis of plastic injection molding,
which improves product performance, reduces scrap, shortens design
leadtimes and lowers design and manufacturing costs. The independent
Harvest magazine has studied the plastics industry worldwide, and has
determined that Moldflow has an 82% market share. Products include:
MF/FLOW -- which predicts flow patterns and characteristics within the
mold; MF/COOL --- which analyzes the vital role of heat exchange and
temperature control in the mold; and MF/WARP software which analyzes the
net distortion of the actual molded part and helps determine its
mechanical properties.
