ACCOLADE SIGNS NOTED SPORTS PERSONALITIES BREIT HULL AND PELE FOR ICE
HOCKEY AND SOCCER GAMES

LAS VEGAS, NV-JANUARY 7,1993--Kicking off its commitment to "Games with
Personality" here at the 1992 International Consumer Electronics Show in
Las Vegas, Accolade, an industry leader in sports simulations, today
announced that it has signed exclusive, worldwide licensing agreement with
ice hockeys premier sniper, Brett Hull, and world famous soccer
personality, Pele, to design and endorse the company's first hockey and
soccer simulations. The products are scheduled for release for the Super
Nintendo, Sega Genesis and IBM PC and compatible computers during the
fourth quarter of this year.

Brett Hull, right winger for the St. Louis Blues, is one of the
highest-paid players in NHL history, and is potentially the most
marketable star since Wayne Gretzky. He is the son of the legendary
Hall-of-Famer, Bobby Hull, whose reign in the 60's and 70's earned him the
reputation as one of the best all-around hockey players in history. A
super star on his own, Brett Hull was named the NHL's Top Goal Scorer in
1990 for achieving 72 goals in 80 games and was voted the NHL's Most
Popular All-Star Player by the fans in 1991. Brett Hull joined the ranks
of Wayne Gretzky and Mario Lemieux when he became a member of the NHL's
"50/49 Club" for scoring 50 goals in 49 games. He is also a member of the
NHL's "70 Goal Club" joining other hockey greats, Gretzky, Lemieux,
Nicholls, Esposito and Kurri.

A truly international personality, Pele is undeniably the most famous
soccer player in the world. Pele first burst into world prominence in
1958, when at the age of just seventeen he led Brazil to its first World
Cup title. He is the only man to have played on three World Cup winning
teams, scored nearly a goal per game throughout his career, and reigns as
the Sportsman of the Century, as chosen by an international poll of
journalists. Pele electrified the entire world with his matchless skills
for 21 years and continues to work as the game's most visible goodwill
ambassador. After conquering Brazil and the World Cup arenas, Pele
concluded his career with a brilliant three-year (1975-1977) stay with the
New York Cosmos, and through his charisma and skill ignited a soccer boom
which is still underway in the United States. In his entire career, Pele
played 1,366 games and scored 1,282 goals.

"Accolade's 'Games with Personality is more than just a slogan for the
company," said Charlotte Taylor Skeel, the company's Director of
Licensing. "'This is a promise to the press, trade and the consumer that
all Accolade products, licensed personalities or original characters, will
contain extra ingredients. In the case of Brett Hull and Pele, we are
already underway to capture the unique playing style and personality each
of these sports icons possess. This, combined with outstanding graphics
and entertaining and realistic gameplay, will distinguish these two
simulations as leaders in the sports category," Taylor Skeel concluded.
