Nintendo Adds Scope Video Game
------------------------------
Nintendo of America Inc has addd its first stand-alone video game
exclusively for use with the Super NES Super Scope accessory. Battle Clash
is a game featuring rapid background scrolling and demonstrating the high
speed potential of the Super NES. Battle Clash makes use of the Super
Scope's turbo fire function, giving players the ability to fire with
amazing speed.

"We believe the excitement of Battle Clash, our first Super Scope title
which features enormous characters and fast-paced action, stems from the
challenge Super NES players will feel as they plan strategy for their
battles and take aim at quickly moving targets to emerge victorious," says
Nintendo vice president of marketing Peter Main.

Battle Clash challenges one or two players with nine levels and two modes
of play: Time Trial Mode or Battle Mode.

T.HQ Develops Sports Illustrated Video Games
--------------------------------------------
Sports Illustrated, published by Time Warner Inc. has reached an agreement
in principle granting T.HQ Inc. a license to produce a line of Sports
Illustrated and Sports Illustrated for Kids video games. T.HQ will produce
the video games for Nintendo and Sega. The inaugural product is a single
Super Nintendo cartridge which includes both a football and baseball game.
SI said the game is expected to reach markets by August.

Accolade Creates Bubsy Bobcat Game
----------------------------------
Accolade has announced its release of the interactive cartoon adventure
Claws Encounters of the Furred Kind, starring Bubsy the Bobcat. The game
will be available for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System and the Sega
Genesis.

"Bubsy is one cool cat. He's a state-of-the-art feline who's got a
digitalized voice, American style cartoon animation, realistic sound
effects and his own original movie-style musical score," says the game's
producer John Skeel.

Also new from Accolade is Centipede for Nintendo Game Boy. The Game Boy
version of the popular video arcade game contains all the thrills and
chills with the hand-held convenience. Centipede includes four levels of
difficulty from novice to expert and multiple modes of game play,
including single player, two player alternating, or, with Game Link,
connect two Game Boys for two player competitive and two player
cooperative.

Capcom Introduces New Games
---------------------------
With the Star Wars game for Game Boy, players will experience 3-D space
flight-simulation and combat sequences as they navigate through an
asteroid field and fly an X-Wing fighter into battle. Star Wars is a
completely non-linear title that allows unrestricted travel through all
levels.

Capcom's first Disney-based title for Super NES, The Magical Quest Starring
Mickey Mouse, has great graphics and high-energy antics. Players will join
Mickey through seven levels.

Adding to the popular Mega Man Series, Capcom introduces Mega Man 4 for
NES. In Mega Man 5, players will join Mega Man using a brand new
generation of super robots and a host of special weaponry and traveling
through 16 game levels.

Capcom also introduces Mega Man III for Game Boy, where players will move
through nine levels of action.

Absolute Introduces Video Games

Absolute Entertainment has introduced six new video games for 1993; three
for Super Nintendo Entertainment and Sega Genesis, tow for Nintendo's Game
Boy, and one for Sega's Game Gear.

The 16-bit games available for either Nintendo's Super NES or Sega's
Genesis include Toys, based on the Fox film starring Robin Williams;
Amazing Tennis, with simulation play for one or two players with 22
different planes of depth and motion-picture quality animation; and Super
Battletank: War in thee Gulf, with M1A1 tank-combat challenge and 10
missions based on the Persian Gulf War of 1991.

New for Game Boy are Star Trek: The Next Generation, based on the
syndicated tv series; and Tun & Bum, a military F-14 Tomcat simulation
game with 99 missions.

For the Sega Game Gear, Absolute has created R.C. Grand Prix, which gives
up to four players the thrill of radio remote-control car racing.

Konami Showcases Games
----------------------
Konami Inc. has expanded for 1993 with new games for Nintendo, Super NES,
Game Boy, Sega Genesis, computer software and LCD hand-held lines.

New game titles for 1993 include Tiny Toon Adventures: Buster Busts Loose,
Buster's Hidden Treasure and Cartoon Workshop, and Tiny Toons Adventures
2: Trouble in Wackeyland; Batman Returns; Rocketknight Adventures; and NFL
Video Pro.

Galoob Introduces Video Enhancer for Super NES and Game Boy
-----------------------------------------------------------
Lewis Galoob Toys Inc. has introduced the Game Genie video game enhancer
for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System more than six months earlier
than it had expected. The company has also introduced Game Genie for
Nintendo's Game Boy. Galoob is the exclusive distributor of Game Genie
products in the United States and Western Europe.

Similar to the Game Genie for the NES and Sega Genesis, the Super NES and
Game Boy Game Genies let players temporarily change and customize their
favorite games to have more power, more energy, run faster or go to any
level of the game.

Featuring more powerful technology, Game Genie for Super NES enables
players to add up to five special effects at a time, two more than
possible in the Genie for NES. A highlight of Super NES Game Genie is its
switching capability that allows players to turn Game Genie's special
effects on and off at will.

Game Boy Game Genie comes with a matchbox-sized codebook with codes for
over 100 games.

Sega Introduces The Activator and More New Video Games
------------------------------------------------------
At the 1993 Winter Consumer Electronics Show, Sega showcased new
technological advancement with the introduction of The Activator, as well
as introducing new video games for Sega CD, Genesis and Game Gear.

Unlike traditional finger controllers, The Activator is a full-body
interactive controller that pioneers the new frontier of "whole body
intelligence" and movement, letting players control and respond to
on-screen action. Connecting easily to Genesis, The Activator is
compatible with Sega's existing library of video games as well as new
software for gameplay with this controller. It consists of eight
interlocking modules equipped with infra-red, or "smart beam" technology,
that form a three and a half foot circle. By standing in the circle,
players control the characters with their own body movements. With the
addition of a second Activator, players can go head to head.

Video games available for 1993 include three CD-ROM games, four games for
Genesis and two new Game Gear games. CD games include Virtual VCR -
Prince, which combines a virtual VCR and Sega CD to turn the TV into a
short film, music video, cartoon or educational document.

Joe Montana's NFL Football features 3-D action plus real motion video and
audio; and Batman Returns, based on the movie, has simultaneous vehicle
and background scaling to provide unrivaled racing, realism.

Sega Genesis games for 93 include X-Men, based on the Marvel comic; Cyborg
Justice, with capabilities of creating 216 different cyborgs; Shinobi 3;
and Dinosaurs for Hire, based on the comic book series.

Games for Game Gear include Vampire - Master of Darkness, with five rounds
and 13 stages; and The Land of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse, which is
based on the game Castle of Illusion.

Atari Debuts New Games for Lynx
-------------------------------
Atari has introduced nine new games for its Lynx entertainment system,
including four new sports games.

Lynx NFL Football packs hard-hitting action into great graphics and
digitized voices for all the realism a player is used to. Players can play
against the computer or use the Complynx cable and challenge a friend.

Baseball Heroes offers the fun and excitement of Major League Baseball.
Game allows players to check baseball player stats, strengths and
abilities before calling plays.

Players choose teams from countries around the world for World Class Soccer
play. As many as four players can be linked up, or play take place
head-to-head.

Basektbrawl is a different kind of basketball game. The objective of this
one or two player game is to win the Basketbrawl tournament. There are no
rules, so players can do whatever it takes to win.

In addition to sports games, Atari offers five other games: Shadow of the
Beast, Steel Talons, Kung Food, Pinball Jam, and Switchblade II.

Shadow of the Beast has the fastest animation of any Lynx game, according
to the company. The game features 96 monsters and more than 200 sound
effects.

Steel Talons has the objective of surviving dangerous obstacles and out
maneuvering the enemy.

Kung Food is a different kind of food fight. The player is shrunk to the
size of a bean and has to survive a food battle against mutated food.

Atari's Pinball Jam combines Elvira, the Party Monsters, and Police Force
to give players portable pinball action.

After 200 years in exile, the evil Ninja Lord Havok has returned to
threaten Cyberworld in Switchblade II. The Player is Hiro the warrior
whose mission is to save the empire in six different levels of this
futuristic world.

Nuby Introduces Six Products for '93
------------------------------------
Nuby Manufacturing Co. expands its video-gaming accessory line for 1993 by
adding six products.

The Nuby Snap "N" Power is a newly designed, more compact poser supply for
Nintendo Game Boy. It snaps directly into the battery compartment and can
power Game Boy for up to 12 hours.

The Nuby Converter allows players to play Master System games in their Game
Gear, by sliding the Converter into the cartridge game slot on Game Gear
and inserting the Master System game.

"New systems are being developed so quickly, many consumers still own older
video game systems," says Greg Iaquinto, Nuby president. "Devices that
enable players to interchange the games between systems will help protect
their investment as the games become more versatile and the useful life of
the game is extended."

New for the Sega Game Gear, the Nuby Power Pak eliminates the need for
batteries and powers Game Gear for up to four hours of play. To recharge,
the players swings our the built-in, two-prong plug and inserts it into
any standard AC outlet.

Also for Game Gear is the Game Gear Magnifier, which is designed to enhance
the fun by enlarging the screen and bring the action closer to the
player.

Nuby introduces two Universal bags for '93 -- Universal Home System Bag and
Universal Home System Bag. The Home System Bag will hold any of the video
game systems, including Nintendo, Super NES, Sega Genesis, PAL and Super
Famicom.

The Universal Hand Held System Bag will hold any of the hand held games,
including Nintendo Game Boy, Sega Game Gear, and Atari Lynx. The bag is
foam padded to protect the components.

Irwin Introduces The Barcode Battler Hand-Held Video Game
---------------------------------------------------------
Irwin Toy Limited introduces the latest hand-held electronic game, The
Barcode Battler. The Barcode Battler decodes barcode data and converts
this information into energy points, attack factors, defense factors and
the ability to use magic. Kids can affix barcodes from everyday household
products to blank cards included in The Barcode Battler package and do
battle.

The Barcode Battler has three game modes and can be used as a two player
game. Thirty-two cards are included with each set: six heroes, ten
mega-monsters, ten weapons/accessory cards and six blank cards. The key to
the success of this item is the accessibility of barcodes in today's
marketplace and the fact that each barcode will generate a different set
of circumstances for the players to overcome.

Irwin plans to add several sets of licensed playing cards to the line.
