Pyxis Offers Six New LabVIEW Add-Ons for the Macintosh

Pyxis Corporation announced six new LabVIEW add-ons for the Macintosh.
Instrument Client and Instrument Server give scientists and engineers
high-level tools for accessing hundreds of types of instruments (including
IEEE 488 and RS-232 devices, spectrum analyzers, gas chromatographs, and
CAT scanners) or systems attached to any number of instrument Servers
within a TCP/IP, AppleTalk, or Ethernet network.

Network VIs is a collection of over 70 LabVIEW VIs that implement a
peer-to-peer approach to Macintosh communication on AppleTalk, EtherTalk,
or TokenTalk networks using Apple Data Stream Protocol (ADSP).

Vintage VIs includes functions for obtaining information from the Macintosh
operating system, a direct keyboard interface, character processing, and a
fully integrated text line editor implemented in LabVIEW. With
Cheshire/LV, users can control DOS program execution and exchange files
with IBM PC and compatible computers from within LabVlEW.

MultiMedia VIs is a new audio, video, and DAT instrumentation recorder
control capability for LabVIEW. MultiMedia VIs implements a professional
quality tape machine editing system from within LabVIEW.
