EEBond Makes Savings Bond Calculations Easy

If you have U.S. savings bonds, do you know how much they're worth?

Because it's hard to calculate the value of the bonds, you could be wrong
in your estimates by hundreds of dollars -- too high or too low.

Of the common ways to get the right figures, all have their problems:

* You can pick up a copy of the Tables of Redemption Values from the Bureau
of the Public Debt and compute the interest manually. That's time
consuming and frustrating.

* You can go to a bank and let the bank do it. That's time consuming and
inconvenient.

* You can pay an investment broker. That's expensive.

* Or you can use EEBond. An inexpensive ($20) computer program from MMR
Software, EEBond makes the job easy. The program maintains a database of
Series EE and Series E bonds and Savings Notes. It computes the value of
bonds up to six months in advance.

All you do is enter serial number and date of purchase, and the program
takes it from there. EEBond determines the worth of your bonds for the
next six months.

To coincide with the publication of the latest tables of redemption values,
EEBond is updated every six months. The update, which requires no further
data entry, costs $10 to registered users.

EEBond was developed by Frank Leibsly and is sold by MMR Software, P.O. Box
7116, Washington, DC 20044. Compuserve 71001,762.
