EnVision Publisher Sweeps Three Shareware Industry Awards

PINELLAS PARK, FL -- July 2, 1993 -- Software Vision Corporation, publisher
of EnVision Publisher, a desktop publishing program, was the only company
to win as many as three awards during the second annual Shareware Industry
Awards, held on June 19,1993. The Awards ceremony which has been held
annually in Indianapolis, Indiana honors 11 categories of shareware which
are awarded only to the best programs.

EnVision Publisher won awards in the following three categories: THE BEST
APPLICATION SOFTWARE OF 11 YEARS (up against PC-File by Buttonware,
PC-Write by Quicksoft, and Boxer by Boxer Software), BEST NEW MSDOS
APPLICATION (up against ProtoCad by Trius, Off-Line Express by Mustang
Software, Lace by Keith Ledbetter, PC-Proof by Franklin Hu, and Castle
Wolfenstein-3D by ID/Apogee Software), and BEST NEW BUSINESS AND
APPLICATIONS SOFTWARE (up against NeoPaint by On-Site Computer Services,
ProtoCad-3D by Trius, and Chartist by Steve Goings.)

According to Julian Achim, Software Vision CEO, "The awards have given us a
boost of confidence to continue developing high quality software and to
market them through the unique shareware channel. The future looks bright
both for EnVision Publisher and Software Vision as we embark on developing
new business applications."

It is no accident that EnVision Publisher has swept the Shareware Industry
awards this Summer. The technical excellence of this program exceeds that
of most desktop publishing programs. EnVision Publisher is a graphical
program with true What-You-See-Is-What-You-Get (WYSIWYG) capability,
scalable fonts, a modern graphical user interface (GUI), complete set of
object drawing tools, picture and text importing, as well as exporting to
PCX, TIF, or IMG formats. EnVision Publisher also has page and document
layout features such as master pages, style sheets, cut and paste,
leading, kerning, various page sizes and orientations, support for any
printer, including laser, dot-matrix, ink-jet, and PostScript.

Software Vision has been in business marketing EnVision Publisher Plus for
$69 and EnVision Publisher Pro for $169, since October 1992, and is
already a million dollar software company. Because EnVision Publisher is
marketed as shareware (a try-before-you-buy software marketing method),
the overwhelming success of EnVision Publisher is due to its technical
excellence, and Software Vision's commitment to its product and
customers.
