QuickWare has announced the release of Q387 Version 3.5 Math Accelerator
and Emulator. Q387 is a cost effective alternative to an 80x87 math
coprocessor chip. The program allows all owners of 468SX, 486SLC, 386DX,
and 386SX based PC's to run programs, such as all releases of AutoCAD,
which normally require a math coprocessor to run. Q387 is very fast,
speeding up coprocessor optional graphics and CAD programs by as much as
400% on machines which have no math coprocessor. For example, Q387 speeds
up GenericCAD by 250%, AutoSketch for Windows by 50%, and SURFER by 400%!
Q387 is compatible with all DOS, all DOS Extender, and all Windows
applications.

For laptop and notebook owners, Q387 offers the additional advantage of
extending battery life by up to 25%, since the program draws power only
when math operations are performed, as opposed to coprocessor chips, which
drain battery power continuously whenever the computer is on.

Q387 is distributed as an upgradable demo, allowing anyone to fully
evaluate the capabilities of Q387 for themselves before registering. The
demo may be obtained free of charge by modem from CompuServe at IBMHW,
America OnLine, the QuickWare BBS at (512) 292-1212 (settings are N81), or
many other local BBS's. Q387 is also available on disk at no charge from
the QuickWare Demo Line at (512) 280-6707. Q387 registration is only $25
and may be accomplished toll free by phone with a Visa or Mastercard.
