SHARED LOGIC LAUNCHES EXPANDED PARADOX TRAINING AND CONSULTING SERVICES

SAN DIEGO, California -- May 16, 1993 -- Shared Logic, Inc. today announced
an expanded program of training and consulting services designed for both
new and experienced users of Borland's Paradox family of relational
database products.

Shared Logic, Inc. offers The Paradox Users Workshops, a series of
professional workshops focusing on Paradox for Windows, Borland's premiere
Windows database and Paradox 4.0, Borland's DOS relational database
management system. Workshops are offered both as private on-site classes
and as public seminars. The new Paradox for Windows workshops provide a
quick way for both novices and experienced users to take advantage of the
many powerful features available in Borland's Paradox products.

Paradox for Windows redefines the standard for relational database
technology. By leveraging on the traditional strengths of Paradox,
employing object-oriented methodologies, and using the Windows graphical
user interface to its fullest, Paradox for Windows brings a whole new
level of capability to PC data management. Paradox for Windows introduces
innovative concepts like Object Inspectors, a SpeedBar and Experts,
designed to make the job of managing data quick and easy.

Paradox 4.0 sets new standards for DOS-based relational database management
systems. With a windows-like user interface, tremendous power and
performance gains, enhanced network performance and expanded Paradox
Application Language, PAL, Paradox is ideal for a wide range of users. It
includes the industry-standard Query By Example (QBE) for fast interactive
database querying. Paradox can also store and retrieve Binary Large
Objects (BLObs) in memo fields. BLObs can contain any type of binary data
including graphics, sound, and multimedia files.

Consulting and application development services have also been expanded to
include Paradox for Windows. Shared Logic uses Paradox and C++ to develop
turnkey applications for clients in a wide variety of industries including
health care, banking, manufacturing and education. Shared Logic has also
performed consulting for companies such as Price Waterhouse, Bank of
America, Loral Aerospace and Pacific Mutual Insurance.

"Our programmers understand the technical and business requirements needed
for today's successful database solutions," said Tim Colling, chairman of
Shared Logic. "With over 7 years of experience in training, consulting and
application development, our clients rely on us to provide proven
dependable service."

"Shared Logic is one of the best sources for Paradox and C++ consulting,
