Under a Killing Moon from Access Software Inc

This category-creating Interactive Movie from ACCESS Software goes light
years beyond any other product labeled "interactive." Under a Killing Moon
takes you to the streets of post World War III San Francisco, into a
Virtual World full of people and places so richly detailed, you'll feel
like you're actually there.

The story

This Interactive Movie casts you in the role of Tex Murphy, Private
Investigator, who first appeared in Mean Streets, then Martian Memorandum.
You see Tex's world through his eyes, and are free to explore every square
inch of this new world. When the story begins, you are in your seedy,
second floor office, in the heart of a run-down mutant section of town.
Stepping to the window, you can look down at the street below, full of
people going about their business--much of it illegal. After a quick look
around the office, you walk down to the street and start looking for a
case--it won't take long.

A Virtual World

In this Virtual World you are free to explore every nook and cranny of a
room. You can crawl under desks, or look closely at something on the
floor. You can look up or down, or turn quickly to see if anyone is behind
you. You will be amazed by the freedom of movement and the level of
detail.

The Guest stars

To legitimize the Interactive Movie as an art form, we felt that Hollywood
stars would add the credibility and talent necessary. For that reason we
invited several stars, Brian Keith (Hardcastle & McCormick, The Parent
Trap, etc.), Margot Kidder (Superman l, II, etc.), and Russell Means (The
Last of the Mohicans, etc.) to join the cast of 18 other experienced
actors appearing in Under a Killing Moon. The characters you meet in Under
a Killing Moon are much more than actors: they're real people.

Director's Option

An innovative new feature allows users to play through a scene, save it,
then "splice" it together with other scenes to create their own
personalized Tex Murphy movie. This movie can then be played back at any
time. With over two hours of video to select from, and unlimited access to
the Virtual World, the user becomes the director.

Rich Original Music

Of course, Under a Killing Moon has a full, rich score of original music,
high quality digitized voices and sound effects, making this Interactive
Movie as aurally exciting as it is visually stunning. Don't miss it!
