PIXELINK FIRST INDUSTRY VENDOR TO DELIVER COMPLETE "PLUG-AND-PLAY" DISPLAY
OPTIONS FOR PC-BASED DOCUMENT IMAGING TASKS

New 120XDS Monitors Offer Government, Corporate Users High Resolution Color
/Gray Scale Display Performance for OS/2-based Systems

Hudson, MA (October 15, 1993) -- At the Federal Imaging Conference and
Exposition in Washington, DC on November 2 and 3, Pixelink Corporation
will debut new IBM OS/2-compatible high-resolution displays, available as
options for its 120XDS Xcelerated document imaging systems running 17-,
20- and 21-inch color monitors.

The new 120XDS display systems not only can display 256 colors at
resolutions up to 120dpi (dots-per-inch), they are plug-compatible with
ISA or MC bus PCs running IBM's OS/2 PM Version 2.1. This means Pixelink
is the first document imaging display industry vendor to ship display
systems that "plug and play" with all PC-based document imaging display
set-ups, no matter what operating system or bus platform the host PC
uses.

120XDS displays presently run with Microsoft Windows and UNIX/X
Windows-based host systems, to manage documents created and manipulated
under these popular PC and workstation operating environments. Pixelink's
new 120XDS displays extend its 120XDS Xcelerated document imaging
performance to the OS/2 environment. Marketing and Sales Director Bill
Ingraham said, "Now, government office and corporate sites, no matter if
they use one or a mix of environments for their PC operations, can turn to
Pixelink for compatible document imaging displays."

The new 120XDS displays for OS/2 are based on 64-bit graphics accelerator
chips from Matrox Electronics Systems Ltd. (based in Dorval, Quebec) that
dramatically speed and enhance text and graphics display performance.
Ingraham explained, "Putting crystal-clear document images on screen
instantly is what 120XDS displays do best. Their performance offers a
tremendous boost for office productivity."

The 120XDS monitor controller includes built-in vector and character
anti-aliasing for crisp, legible characters, plus a 4x "hotkey zoom" that
helps users magnify and examine specific document sections. The monitor
lets users see two document pages simultaneously on screen, at 120dpi (or
1600 x 1200 pixel) resolution. The 120XDS for OS/2 display system --
including a color monitor, accelerated monitor controller, installation
software, cables and documentation -carries a $4,095 list price ($4,195
for the Microchannel version). Product can be shipped immediately for
customer orders placed in October.

Pixelink provides high-performance display systems to OEMs, system
integrators, and public sector and corporate users throughout North
America. Pixelink specializes in integrating gray scale and color monitors
with video controllers, to deliver high-resolution document imaging
systems that meet challenging customer requirements in government,
university, business, science, engineering, medical, and graphic arts
applications.
