FUJITSU PERSONAL SYSTEMS AND TRANSDATANET PARTNERSHIP BRINGS MOBILE PEN
COMPUTING TO THE TRUCKING INDUSTRY

SANTA CLARA, Calif., October 29, 1993 -- Fujitsu Personal Systems, Inc. and
Transdatanet Corporation today announced a strategic partnership to
provide integrated wireless mobile systems for the trucking industry.

Under the terms of the agreement, Transdatanet will integrate Fujitsu's
325Point penbased mobile computers with its forms-based trucking
application software. The mobile solution will communicate wirelessly
using Motorola's cellular modems and other PCMCIA modem cards.

The Transdatanet/Fujitsu mobile systems are designed to make delivery
verification, dispatch communications, messaging, and vehicle monitoring
easier and more efficient by providing drivers with real-time access to
dispatch information for pick-ups and deliveries communicated through
Transdatanet's advanced modular software. The systems will reduce
operating costs, increase driver productivity, and improve the quality of
the data collected.

"Fujitsu's alliance with Transdatanet reinforces our position within the
transportation industry as a leading provider of enterprise wide computing
solutions," said Lou Panetta, Fujitsu's executive vice president.
"Transdatanet's approach as a service bureau for the trucking industry
enhances our continued efforts to help corporations decrease costs while
increasing enterprise productivity."

"Providing integrated mobile systems based on Fujitsu's 325Point enables us
to increase our customers' competitiveness by automating driver
documentation, giving them immediate invoicing and signature capture
capabilities," said Jim Fleming, executive vice president of Transdatanet.
"The protocol provided by our software consumes less time and space, and
decreases the amount of error typically found in bills-of-lading, driver's
logs, and vehicle condition reports."

The Fujitsu 325Point running Transdatanet's application software is
easy-to-use, with pen-based capabilities that can be easily operated using
only one hand. It will also support custom in-vehicle "cradle" mounting so
mobile devices can be safely affixed during travel and easily removed
during deliveries and pick-ups.

Transdatanet Corporation, headquartered in Vancouver, Washington,
specializes in transportation productivity. Transdatanet's advanced
modular software is the result of an intensive research and development
effort commenced in 1989. In addition to trucking, the company plans to
extend its service bureau approach of automating documentation to rail,
air and oceanic transportation.
