EA*Kids Expands Product Line to Support Apple Macintosh

SAN MATEO, Calif,. November 19, 1993 -- Continuing its mission to create
entertaining, educational software for homes and schools, EA*Kids has
released three new titles for the Apple Macintosh. EA*Kids is a division
of Electronic Arts (NASDAQ: ERTS), a worldwide leader in interactive
entertainment. The new titles are: Scooter's Magic Castle, Ping and
Kooky's Cuckoo Zoo and Peter Pan: A Story Painting Adventure. Three more
EA*Kids titles, Eagle Eye Mysteries: The Original, Eagle Eye Mysteries in
London, and EA*Kids Art Center, will be released for the Macintosh in
December. Teacher editions, lab packs and site license versions of these
products are being released now through January, 1994.

The Macintosh versions of EA*Kids products feature high-resolution
graphics, digitized sound, and multiple levels of learning that are
adjustable to the child's skills. Most consumer versions include
individual Activity Guides for parents and children. All teacher editions
include a Teacher's Guide designed by curriculum experts to complement
classroom or individual learning activities.

Scooter's Magic Castle, for ages S to 8, has received a 1993 Parent's
Choice Award as well as the 1993 National Parenting Center Seal of
Approval. The program--a romp through a castle full of engaging learning
games--features activities that reinforce skills such as critical
thinking, counting and fractions, pattern recognition, keyboarding and
creativity. Along with pal Scooter, children can create colorful monsters
in the laboratory, grow their own magic gardens, and fish in the castle
moat.

Ping and Kooky's Cuckoo Zoo, for ages 3 to 6, lets children drive their own
train through a zany zoo. Accompanied by Ping (a friendly Panda) and Kooky
(a nutty Cuckoo bird), children meet talking and singing animals who
reinforce learning skills. Cuckoo Zoo features four "environments"--rain
forest, savannah, polar park and farm-each populated with animal pals who
teach color and number recognition, counting, matching, letter recognition
and creativity.

Peter Pan: A Story Painting Adventure, for ages S to 9, also received a
1993 Parent's Choice Award. The program features the Paintbox Pals, a set
of living paint "tools" that allow children to affect the events in Peter
Pan's classic tale. The revolutionary Story Painting interface combines
elements from story books, graphic adventures, and interactive cartoons,
so children can create their own versions of Peter Pan's tale while
strengthening reading and storytelling skills.

Consumer versions of the following additional products will be available by
December, 1993: EA*Kids Art Center, Eagle Eye Mysteries and its sequel,
Eagle Eye Mysteries in London for the Macintosh, Peter Pan: A Story
Painting Adventure and Ping and Kooky's Cuckoo Zoo for the Macintosh
CD-ROM.

Teacher's Editions and Lab Packs of Eagle Eye Mysteries, Scooter's Magic
Castle and Ping and Kooky's Cuckoo Zoo will be available for the Macintosh
in November, 1993.
