ROSLYN HEIGHTS, NEW YORK, August 25, 1993 - - - Cheyenne Communications,
Inc., a subsidiary of Cheyenne Software, Inc. (AMEX:CYE) announced today
an extension to its pricing structure for FAXserve, which will provide
customers using a NetWare 3.1 l or 4.0 five (S) user version,
cost-effective access to the industry;s first and only file server-based,
automated approach to network facsimile services.

In making the announcement, David Weingard, Director of Marketing for
Cheyenne Communications, stated "Using a facsimile machine to send
information, as opposed to mailing it, has quickly become the preferred
method of information distribution for businesses whether large or small,
throughout the world. Automating this function will allow companies to
re-focus the time and effort usually spent on faxing to more productive,
and potentially more profitable activity. Cheyenne takes great pride in
our ability to respond to the needs of all of our customers. This new
version of FAXserve has been specifically developed to meet the growing
demands of the smaller network user who requires the power of network
facsimile services today, and as they continue to expand their business.
"

FAXserve, a file server-based (NLM) application, monitors, queues,
schedules, and processes fax transmissions while remaining in the
background. It eliminates the need for a dedicated fax server, a dedicated
workstation, or proprietary hardware. Sending a fax is as simple as
printing a document from a workstation. It works with most DOS, Windows,
or E-Mail applications, or can use any CAS application to create and send
documents. FAXserve provides multiple board support, including
international, auto rescheduling, transmit/receive logs, and accounting
audit trails tied to the network.

FAXserve NLM for NetWare 3.11/4.0 Five User Version is available through
Cheyenne's worldwide distribution channel. The U.S. retail price is
$395.00, which includes both the NLM and the Windows and DOS front ends.
