IBEX TECHNOLOGIES SHIPS NEW DOCUMENT MANAGEMENT FEATURES
Client /Server Architecture Allows Easy Access

(Placerville, CA November 1, 1993)--Ibex announces the addition of advanced
fax document management features to its fax-on-demand product, FactsLine.
With the release of Windows Version 1.2, fax-on-demand and fax broadcast
documents can now be scheduled to automatically activate at a specified
date and time. In addition, documents can be set to automatically expire
at a pre-determined activity level or at a specific date and time.

Other document management functions available under the FactsLine for
Windows Version 1.2 include:
* Document accounting codes and functions used for billing
* Timed fax delivery options
* Multiple levels of document categories
* Links to document supplier database for billing and reporting
* Audio(voice) and textual description of documents

FactsLine features a client/server architecture with the document
management client interface running under Microsoft Windows. This allows
users to add, delete and manage fax documents from their desktop, while
the fax-on-demand server runs uninterrupted. A new Windows printer driver
makes fax document creation simple--users select the Ibex Print Driver as
their Windows printer, print their document from any Windows program and
enter the document number they wish to create or update. The fax document
is created and automatically updated on the FactsLine server.

In addition, the index of available fax-on-demand documents, usually a
manually-updated document, can be automatically generated with the new
management tools. "We've found that a significant amount of our customers'
time was taken up in the day-to-day process of keeping the index of
documents current," says Ney Grant, president of Ibex, "and now it's a
matter of seconds each day."
