MOSES COMPUTERS NOW SHIPPING INDUSTRY'S FIRST SINGLE-USER LAN

Multi-Purpose "MosesDOCK!" Lets Portable/Laptop Users Connect to Desktop
PC's With Full Peer-to-Peer Services Within Moses Network

November 15, 1993 - (COMDEX, LAS VEGAS)--Moses Computers is now shipping
its newest solution to connect laptops (including notebooks, sub-notebooks
and portables) into the peer-to-peer network environment: MosesDOCK!,
which integrates the company's MosesSWIFT! and MosesALL! platforms into a
single, "plug-and-play" product, according to Frank Berko, Chairman and
CEO of Moses Computers.

MosesDOCK! becomes the first network product in the history of personal
computers not aimed primarily at multiple users. "We see MosesDOCK! as a
natural peripheral product for the laptop buyer," said Berko. "Anyone
buying a laptop today undoubtedly has a desktop PC as well and will need a
vehicle to transfer data, as well as share drives, printers and
peripherals. MosesDOCK! is the simplest, easiest and most elegant
solution. It's also available at a fraction of the cost of more expensive
proprietary docking stations offered by the laptop manufacturers."

The MosesDOCK! solution provides a data signaling rate of 4 megabits per
second, nearly 100 times faster than simple file-sharing utilities.
MosesDOCK! creates an inexpensive laptop computer docking station with
full peer-to-peer networking capabilities. In addition, it serves as a
starter kit for a Moses network of any size. Retail price will be $299,
with a street price of approximately $199.

"Give the laptop user the freedom to integrate all of the features of his
or her full-blown desktop PC's with all of its wired peripherals, and they
will become hooked on the concept of peer-to-peer networking," added
Berko. "The typical MosesDOCK! user will start by connecting his or her
laptop to one PC, then add more and more connections as the value of
connectivity becomes increasingly evident."

"Another advantage of MosesDOCK! is the speed of copying files between
desktop and laptop," noted Berko. "Most users currently copy their day's
work to a floppy, then load it to the desktop; the next morning the
process is reversed. With MosesDOCK!, all work is copied directly to the
machines' respective hard drives, bypassing the need to use floppies to
transfer data and cutting the transfer process by at least 50 percent."

MosesDOCK! will provide laptop users with an inexpensive alternative to the
very expensive proprietary docking solutions. Berko says, "Because
MosesDOCK! provides a universal solution to all laptop users, retailers
are at a distinct advantage in distributing a docking solution."

MosesDOCK! is also ideal for small office environments where one partner
owns a desktop PC and the other has a laptop. For little more than the
price of an A-B switch and cable, both users can share not only a printer
(or several printers), but can have full peer-to-peer networking
capability, something heretofore unheard of between laptops and desktops
in this price range.

MosesDOCK! Includes Upgrade Disk for Current MosesALL! Systems

MosesDOCK! works with all existing Moses networks, including the original 2
mbps MosesALL! and PromiseLAN. MosesDOCK! users will in fact be able to
upgrade their entire single-site network to 4 mbps using the software
contained in MosesDOCK!

The MosesDOCK! systems contains one MosesSWIFT! portable network adapter,
one internal MosesALL! internal network interface card (NIC), one 12-foot
RJ11 modular telephone cable for close coupling, and the complete MosesNOS
network operating system (NOS) and menu-driven installation program.
MosesSWIFT! operates on AC or battery power; MosesALL! connects to any of
the PC's standard ISA slots and requires no additional power. MosesDOCK!
retails for $299 per two-node kit, with an expected street price of less
than $ 199.
