New Electronic Service is On-Line

November 22, 1993 --- The Party Line Bulletin Board System has begun
business in Rohnert Park. Computer users with a modem can subscribe to
the service and access over 40,000 Shareware and public domain files.
Dozens of special interest areas provide information on items such as job
listings or homebrewing beer. Users communicate worldwide using
electronic mail connected to Internet and MajorNet. Users connected
simultaneously may communicate "live" via keyboard, and evening links to
remote systems allow people all over the country to "chat".

Among other services provided are PC Catalog, listing current hardware and
software mail-order prices, and Newbytes, reporting items of interest in
the computer and telecommunications industries. Online games let users
compete against one another or against the computer.

The Party Line's introductory subscription rate ($8 monthly) is a low cost
alternative to nationwide services such as CompuServe or Prodigy. For
further information and a free trial week contact The Party Line BBS via
modem (707) 588-8055, voice (707) 588-9602 or email: jami@partyline.com.
All incoming lines support 14,400 bps.
