PC Graphics & Video Magazine (formerly High Color) Joins Forces with Center
For Creative Imaging

Santa Ana, CA-October 28, 1993 -- PC Graphics & Video magazine (formerly
High Color) and the Camden, Maine-based Center for Creative Imaging (CCI)
have joined forces to promote the PC Graphics industry and training. The
two companies will share information, which will allow each company to
promote its services more effectively. PC Graphics & Video was recently
purchased by Advanstar Communications Inc. from Imagetech Inc., which owns
and operates CCI.

CCI is the world-renowned computer graphics training facility created by
Eastman Kodak. Its programs include PC, Silicon Graphics and
Macintosh-based courses led by many of today's best-known computer
graphics professionals.

PC Graphics & Video reaches 75,000 computer graphics professionals, and is
the only magazine of its kind targeted exclusively to PC-based users. The
magazine will move to monthly frequency in May 1994.

"Our relationship with CCI will support the efforts to keep PC Graphics &
Video on the cutting edge of computer graphics and presentations," says
David Allen Shaw, group publisher for Advanstar Communications. "We look
forward to developing line extensions for both companies which will
increase our value to our readers and advertisers."

"We sold High Color (now PC Graphics & Video) to Advanstar so that we could
focus our efforts on the continuing development of the Center for Creative
Imaging," adds Peter Davidson, president of Imagetech, Inc. "But we
believe strongly in the future of the magazine, and its ability to help us
achieve our goals. Our agreement with Advanstar will allow us to maintain
this mutually beneficial arrangement with the magazine."

Advanstar Communications, headquartered in Cleveland, OH, is a leading
business information company with three business segments. Advanstar
Publishing produces 58 trade and professional magazines and journals
