PCPI and Adobe Sign Development Agreement Will develop PostScript
controller for Adobe OEMs

November 2, 1993, San Diego -- Personal Computer Products, Inc. (NASDAQ
symbol: PCPI), today announced that it has signed an agreement with Adobe
Systems Incorporated to develop printer and related technologies for OEM
customers who are Adobe licensees.

In its role as a co-developer with Adobe, PCPI will augment Adobe's product
development activities for OEMs in areas such as controller hardware
design, software integration, and porting Adobe's PostScript software and
other Adobe technologies. PCPI also offers its own complementary
technologies as part of its implementations of PostScript Level 2. These
include doubleRES technology, which doubles the native resolution of laser
printer engines (i.e. 300 dpi to 600 x 600 dpi), and PhotoImage, which

Adobe will work with PCPI to provide them with complete training, support,
and final product quality assurance.
