ARIS ENTERTAINMENT ANNOUNCES EXCLUSIVE DISTRIBUTION AND DEVELOPMENT
AGREEMENT WITH TOYOTA TSUSHO

Deep Voyage, Full Bloom, Wild Places, World View, MPC Wizard & Video Cube
To Be Translated into Japanese For Exclusive Distribution

November 15, 1993 -- (COMDEX, LAS VEGAS) - Aris Entertainment has announced
that it has signed an agreement with Toyota Tsusho America, Inc., for
product development and distribution in Japan.
Toyota Tsusho will introduce the Japanese version of these titles from the
award-winning MediaClips series: Deep Voyage, Full Bloom, Wild Places and
World View, and the best-selling CD-ROM utility, MPC Wizard. Aris
Entertainment's hot new game series, Video Cube, will also be translated.

These select Aris titles will be translated and produced in the United
States, then exported to Japan for distribution. Toyota Tsusho America has
the exclusive rights to distribute the Japanese version of these Aris
CD-ROM titles in Japan.

Toyota Tsusho Corporation is a marketing and trading corporation formed in
1948 and operating within the Toyota Group. Today, Toyota Tsusho has grown
into a successful worldwide operation with record sales of $18 billion for
fiscal 1993. Thirty years ago, Toyota Tsusho America, Inc., was formed.
This American-based company currently distributes a variety of
computer-related products, specializing in introducing American-made
products into the Japanese market.

"It is indeed our pleasure to localize and market Aris CD-ROM software in
the Japan market," said Hirohisa Shuyuma, senior vice president of Toyota
Tsusho America, Inc. "The market leading Aris titles compliment our other
multimedia products that we are promoting throughout the fast growing
Japanese marketplace."

Aris' MediaClips line was selected by Multimedia World Magazine as the
Readers' Choice award winner for clip media. The Aris MPC Wizard, a
utility product which was developed to help end users get their MPC
systems running quickly and efficiently, spent several months as the #1
bestseller among all CD-ROM titles and has never left the Top Five since
its debut a year ago.

"We are delighted to be working with Toyota Tsusho America," said C.W.
Bottorff, director of marketing at Aris. "The market presence and
reputation of Toyota Tsusho combined with Aris Entertainment's
best-selling products offer the Japanese customer the very latest in
CD-ROM technology in their language."

Distribution Deal to Include Entire Line of Video Cube Titles
Aris has just released the Video Cube series, in one of the most successful
new product launches in the company's history. Video Cube is a fast-paced,
multimedia video game--an interactive Rubik's cube-like puzzle
incorporating 108 Microsoft Video for Windows videos with CD-quality
original music and sound effects.

The Video Cube has 18 levels of difficulty to test novices and expert
players alike. The first title in the series is Video Cube: Space, is
dynamic and engrossing with rocket launches, moon walks and stunning
videos of the heavens above and the earth below. "The Video Cube series is
especially suitable for gift giving," said Bottorff. "It's so much fun,
you won't want to stop."

"Our research has shown that parents are often looking for exciting games
for their children, but they also want something safe and
non-destructive," said Diane Heppting, chairman and co-founder of Aris.
"With Video Cube, players can enjoy hours of fast, challenging,
three-dimensional action with none of the violent themes or overtones
associated with traditional video games."

Aris Multimedia Entertainment, Inc., was founded in 1991, by Chris Kitze
and Diane Heppting. The company was recently named one of the top three
publishers of CD-ROM titles in the world, according to the research firm
PC Data. Kitze is regarded by many as a pioneer in the field of electronic
publishing and CD-ROM software development. Heppting has a successful
history of product marketing and management and is recognized as a leading
developer of CD-ROM titles since the early days of multimedia.
Aris has established a reputation for visionary products by consistently
combining a unique topic blend for business and recreational use. Aris is
a leader in multimedia technology, setting industry standards with its
test and tune disc, the MPC Wizard.
