Logitech Introduces New TrackMan Design for the Macintosh

Advanced Ergonomic Features Offer Macintosh Users Advanced Precision and
Comfort for Greater Productivity

Fremont, Calif.--November 1, 1993 -- Logitech Inc., international market
leader in pointing devices for personal computers, today announced the new
design of its popular TrackMan stationary desktop mouse for the Macintosh.
With a case design conforming more closely with the human hand, TrackMan
features advanced ergonomic styling and precision control. The TrackMan
package includes MouseKey version 1.2 software offering greater cursor and
tracking control. TrackMan will be available in January 1994 at a
suggested retail price of $139.

"With the new TrackMan design, we've further refined our thumb-operated
trackball technology, giving those who spend long hours using a mouse an
elegant, yet highly functional, input solution," said Deborah Davis,
Logitech product manager. "Since its initial introduction to the PC
platform, the new TrackMan shape has been extremely popular. We're now
responding to the increasing demand from the Macintosh community for the
same award-winning design."

As a stationary device, TrackMan requires less desk space than a mouse and
can be used in a variety of situations, including in a keyboard drawer
where a mouse is impractical. The new TrackMan has a great feel and an
attractive design for design-conscious users. "Because TrackMan requires
no arm or wrist movement, it maximizes both support and precision," said
Logitech president Pierluigi Zappacosh. "There is a psychological
component in the choice of an input device when they find the right one,
the result feels obvious and natural. We believe TrackMan is elegant in
this regard and demonstrates Logitech's commitment to 'humanizing'
computers."

MouseKey version 1.2 software offers users the ability to assign different
tasks to the buttons, such as the double click feature, for faster and
easier computing in Macintosh applications. In addition, TrackMan has a
default hardware resolution level of 400 dpi which allows users to move
across the screen with less effort than the standard 100 dpi.

TrackMan is compatible with all Macintosh computers running System 6.X or
later with an ADB port and is backed by a 60-day satisfaction guarantee
and a three-year limited warranty. Logitech will be offering TrackMan at a
special introductory price of $89.00 for the first 90-days beginning
January 15, 1994. Registered users of the current TrackMan product can
upgrade through Logitech's customer sales center.

Logitech manufactures and markets "Senseware" - products designed to give
"senses" such as sight, sound, and touch to the computer, making
human-to-computer communication more intuitive and natural. Logitech
