Absolute to Acquire Assets of Extreme Entertainment

UPPER SADDLE RIVER, NJ -- Absolute Entertainment has announced that it has
agreed to acquire certain assets of software publisher Extreme
Entertainment Group, a subsidiary of Japan-based Micronet, in exchange for
a combination of 148,148 shares of common stock plus cash and notes, for a
total purchase price of approximately $2.5 million.

"The acquisition of Extreme continues our strategy of strengthening
Absolute's position in the marketplace as a leading multimedia
entertainment publisher," says Garry Kitchen, Absolute's president and
CEO. "Combining Extreme's solid product line with Absolute's technological
expertise, extensive distribution and financial capabilities gives us
enormous potential."

Absolute will acquire Extreme's 12 Nintendo and Sega compatible software
products-in-development, including Riddick Bowe Boxing.

Extreme will maintain its own identity as a separate label under Absolute,
and will be headed up by vice president and general manager, Denny
Thorley.
