Who has the world's only notebook with a sound chip on the motherboard?

Who has the largest hard drive in a notebook?

January 10, 1994 -- Troy, New York -- Aquiline Inc. has begun shipment of
their newest and most advanced notebook, the Hurricane. This notebook
combines the newest technology with the powerful features Aquiline has
become known for. The Hurricane is available with a sound chip on the
motherboard, 540 MB IDE hard drive, 20 MB RAM, and a 80486DX2-66mhz static
CPU.

Aquiline's Hurricane is one of the only systems that meet the requirements
of sound, memory storage, hard disk capacity, size, weight, and battery
life all in one color notebook. The Aquiline Hurricane is built with the
power user in mind. Executives, software developers, or anyone who is
looking for a high speed portable workstation will find that the Hurricane
meets the most demanding requirements. The Hurricane is able to run high
powered operating systems including; OS/2, DOS, and Windows NT, and easily
handles the most complex computing tasks.

When asked about the Hurricane and some of its newest features, Tony De
Maria CEO had the following to say:

"We are pleased to be the first manufacturer to introduce this new
technology to the growing market of notebook users. Our latest notebook
combines sound, voice recognition, active color display, and large storage
capacity all in one lightweight package. The Hurricane truly meets the
demands of todays' portable power users."

Take a First Hand Look at the World's Most Advanced Notebook!

Larger Storage Capacity and Faster Processing

Aquiline's Hurricane is the first notebook available with Intel's PF24F, an
energy conserving 80486DX2-66 CPU. Newly released, the PF24F offers faster
processing speed than other CPUs. The Hurricane is also available with
20MB memory, 540MB IDE hard drive, enough speed and power to handle just
about any application.

Active Color Display

The Hurricane's ultra bright back lighting and 10" active matrix color
display are combined to appease the most discriminating user. The
substantially increased viewing angle of the active matrix color display
make this the perfect tool for small group presentations.

Video

The Aquiline Hurricane incorporates the newest technology in a video
adapter. Aquiline's engineers have equipped the notebook with Western
Digital's newest graphics accelerator chip. This allows the CPU to
communicate with external peripherals at the full clock speed of the
processor, and gives the Hurricane the fastest video speed available in a
notebook, even faster than local bus systems. Not only does the Hurricane
support Western Digital refresh over the entire spectrum of video modes,
the Hurricane even includes vibrant 256 color drivers for external
resolutions up to 1024 X 768, more than any other notebook.

PCMCIA Slots The Hurricane is equipped with two type 2 PCMCIA card slots
which enable the notebook PC to interface with peripherals such as modems
and network adapters. Unlike some notebooks, the Hurricane nearly conceals
the PCMCIA cards while not in use to protect from damage.

What is PCMCIA?

The Personal Computer Memory Card Association or PCMCIA is a trade
association that has developed and maintained standards effecting the
manufacturing of PC cards. With the growing popularity of portable
computing, users have demanded an easy, efficient way to add memory,
storage, and I/O capabilities (connections to: modems, LANs, mainframes)
to their notebooks. PCMCIA cards are easy to use, about the size of a
credit card and provide an alternative to pocket adapters and docking
stations. Aquiline recognizes the need for this technology, and offers a
full line of type 2 PCMCIA cards.

Built-in Trackball Pointing Device

The Hurricane is equipped with a built-in "powerbook style" trackball with
an integrated wrist rest for added comfort.

Battery Powered

Aquiline's Hurricane is fully battery powered and has a battery life of
over 3 hours.
