New Mac Version to Ship in Q2 1994
ClickBook Automatically Turns Macintosh Files Into Booklets

San Francisco, CA--ClickBook for the Macintosh, a new software program
modeled after BookMaker Corporation's highly rated ClickBook for Windows
printing utility, has been introduced at Macworld San Francisco. ClickBook
for the Macintosh will ship in the second quarter of 1994.

The Windows version of ClickBook has received lavish praise from the
computer press. PC Magazine named ClickBook one of "Five Top Windows
Add-ons" in their "Best Products of 1993" issue.

PaperDirect, Inc., of Lyndhurst, NJ, the nation's leading catalog retailer
of specialty and preprinted laser papers and accessories, will market
Make-A-Booklet, a special custom version of ClickBook.

ClickBook automatically turns the files created by Macintosh programs into
one of 17-styles of double-sided booklets for printing on any laser or ink
jet printer. Users can also create custom booklet sizes and styles. "It
takes just two mouse clicks and a fold to transform a typical 4-page
Microsoft Word document into a booklet printed on one sheet of paper,"
explained BookMaker President Martin Mazner. ClickBook automatically
reduces pages and then positions them for perfect double-sided printing.
It even prints an instruction sheet with a large arrow that shows exactly
how to reinsert paper for double-sided printing. "The results are great
looking, easily handled documents that save time, paper and money," added
Mazner.

ClickBook has been tested with leading Macintosh application programs
including Microsoft Word, Excel, WordPerfect and Filemaker Pro.

Typical uses of ClickBook include printing company telephone directories
from spreadsheets and databases; event programs, booklets and training
manuals from word processors; and graphic proofs and thumbnails from
drawing programs. ClickBook supports all personal organizer paper sizes
and types including DayRunner, Franklin, Filofax and Day-Timer.

"Some of our customers use ClickBook to print booklets of overhead slides
produced in Persuasion or PowerPoint," reported Mazner. "The booklets are
much easier to use as handouts than the traditional stacks of paper with a
staple in the upper left corner."

ClickBook installs easily using an automated installation program. A "Use
ClickBook" option is installed into the page setup dialog box. Then it
just takes a click to whisk files into ClickBook for double-sided
printing.

ClickBook runs on Macintosh computers and compatible laser or ink jet
printers under System 6.07 or later. The suggested retail value of the
product is $69.95. ClickBook for the Macintosh can be ordered in the U.S.
by calling (800) 766-8531. International orders can be placed by calling
(716) 871-7869.
