In Speed Racer in: My Most Dangerous Adventures, players take on the role
of the courageous teenage driver Speed Racer, racing the amazing Mach 5,
or choose to race as the mysterious Racer X in his Formula 1 Racer Car,
"The Shooting Star." Players will participate in exotic locales from
around the world like, The Great Sahara Challenge, The Great Alpine Race,

including Captain Terror, Snake Oiler, and Kabala

battles where they will take on goons like the Car Acrobatic Team and the
Gang of Assassins.

All the features of the amazing Mach 5 can he accessed by the touch of a
button. Autojacks enable the car to jump short distances at high speeds,
and belt tires are especially useful for traction if the Mach 5 veers off
the race track. Players using the buzz saws will see why the Mach 5 is a
cut above the rest for mowing down opponents and slashing through
obstacles.

A Sega Genesis version, Speed Racer in: The Challenge of Racer X will also
be available in March. Both video games for the two popular video game
systems will feature Speed Racer, Racer X, Trixie and the rest of the
characters from the original series. The games will be based on episodes
taken from the original cartoon series and will feature the familiar "Go
Speed Racer Go" theme song. Slightly different from each other, each game
takes advantage of the different features the two video game systems offer
and will be designed to attract the two different audiences -- younger for
the Super Nintendo Entertainment System and older for the Sega Genesis.
