NEW BOOK OFFERS QUICK UPGRADE TO LOTUS 1-2-3 RELEASE 4 FOR WINDOWS

January 25, 1994 -- Spreadsheet users can quickly upgrade or convert to
Release 4 of Lotus 1-2-3 for Windows with a new book just published by
Mike Murach & Associates, The Essential Guide: Lotus 1-2-3 4.0 for
Windows. Although Release 4 of Lotus 1-2-3 for Windows is easier to use
than any of the previous releases of the program, even the most
experienced spreadsheet user will need help learning the many new features
and functions in this version. Murach's Essential Guide provides four
benefits not found in other 1-2-3 books:

* it helps users upgrade or convert to Release 4 of 1-2-3
for Windows in just a few hours
* it presents new 1-2-3 skills that can be learned in just 10
  or 15 minutes each
* it serves as a reference that allows spreadsheet users to
brush up on any function or feature in just a few minutes
* it helps users increase their productivity by presenting the
functions in most chapters in a top-down sequence, starting
with the functions that are most useful and moving on down
to those that are least useful

The Essential Guide: Lotus 1-2-3 4.0 for Windows focuses on increasing any
Lotus user's productivity as quickly as possible. Chapter 1 teaches
essential Windows skills for 1-2-3 users who are converting from a DOS
version of the program to a Windows version, and the entire book is filled
with screen examples to show readers how to use each function and
feature.
