Masterclips, Inc. Announces Version 2.0 of Masterclips - The Art of
Business

Features Enhanced CD-ROM, Browser and Converter Utilities

(January 17, 1994) Version 2.0 of Masterclips - The Art of Business, a
comprehensive CGM clip art package with over 6,000 full-color, artist
drawn images in a hundred different categories, is now available from
Masterclips, Inc. at a low list price of $260.

Images from Masterclips - The Art of Business 2.0 can be used to add
interest and impact to business reports, presentations, overheads,
newsletters, brochures and a professional look to any document. Developed
for use in both DOS and Windows applications, Masterclips

The Art of Business supports over 75 of the most popular desktop
publishing, word processing, page layout and spreadsheet programs. Also
available on CD-ROM, these images can be used in UNIX and OS/2, as well as
DOS and Windows.

New Version 2.0 features an enhanced Keyword Image Browser Utility which
makes it even easier for users to view, identify and locate images
quickly. The Browser now offers six times as many key words with which you
can select images from your diskette, hardrive, or CD-ROM and then
incorporate them into your documents. The Browser also supports 16
different file formats. This enables you to import and catalog graphics
from other sources and easily manage all of your graphics in one place.

Masterclips - The Art of Business 2.0 also offers an enhanced Chromatic
Converter Utility which lets you convert images from Color to Grey-scale,
Color to Black & White line art and Color to Silhouette. In addition,
images can also be converted from CGM to WPG or WMF formats in full color,
plus all of the monochromes. This utility helps users gain better
definition of their images in those applications which have limited
conversion capabilities.

The CD-ROM version now contains all 6,000 images in CGM and WMF formats in
both color and grey-scale. In addition, browser catalogs, including 36,000
key words, are now included for all images in WMF, as well as CGM.

Each electronic clip art image is artist-drawn and digitized into a vector
format that retains its high quality when re-sized and/or re-colored.
Vector graphics eliminate raster problems such as jagged lines, continuity
breaks, or compromised colors, even when enlarged. Unlike most clip art,
Masterclips' images are all produced in full color and retain their high
quality when printed in black and white.

Masterclips - The Art of Business 2. 0 was produced in the popular CGM
format for use with most software programs that support graphics
(including CorelDRAW!, WordPerfect, Harvard Graphics, Microsoft Word,
PageMaker, Lotus 1-2-3, Quattro Pro, and many more.)

Masterclips, Inc. also publishes The SERIES, a smaller clip art collection
of 24 subject-specific titles each for a list price of only $19.99 per
title. Masterclips, Inc.'s products are distributed through Merisel and
Kenfil, and are available at most popular retail outlets.
