AutoCAD-based Piping Design Software

PIPER allows the piping designer to rapidly lay out complex, yet accurate
arrangements. Based on AutoCAD running under an MS-DOS environment, PIPER
v1.1 can generate approximately 1,200 different 37 degree flare,
straight-thread O-ring seal, HP pipe thread and socket weld fittings. It
will soon include several hundred Code 61/62 flange fittings also.

The software runs in an intelligent menu-pick/question-answer method.
Utilities are also included for tube routing, with fittings/bends
automatically placed at junctions/corners. Numerous options give
flexibility in how the fittings are portrayed -- for example, as "threaded
into" a port, or with flare nuts removed.

Typical applications include fluid power transmission, hydraulic and
pneumatic control units, braking systems, test stands, and just about any
other arrangement involving pressure piping.
PIPER further stands apart from other fitting creation software, in that it
involves no "block libraries:" while an equivalent drawing library would
require a minimum of 9mb of space on a hard drive, PIPER, using advanced
programming techniques, needs less than 360k to do same the job, and in a
much more intuitive manner.

PIPER works with AutoCAD R10, R11, R12, and R12 for Windows.
