HUMONGOUS ENTERTAINMENT'S LOVABLE LITTLE CAR IS BACK; NOW PUTT-PUTT'S ON
THE MOON!

New software is latest addition to company's interactive storytelling
product line

Woodinville, WA--December 20, 1993--Humongous Entertainment, the innovator
in interactive children's storytelling, today announced that its lovable
little car, Putt-Putt, has blasted into space and landed on the moon. Now
children can join Putt-Putt, and a little lunar terrain vehicle named
Rover, plus a host of charming characters as they make friends and pursue
adventures in Putt-Putt Goes to the Moon. Designed for children, ages 3-8,
the new interactive story is now available for Macintosh and IBM PC
computers and the 3DO multi-player.

Putt-Putt Goes to the Moon is the fifth title in Humongous Entertainment's
Junior Adventures product line. Each interactive multimedia title provides
playful, non-violent stories that entertain children while they explore a
cheerful, imaginative world. Friendship, cooperation, and teamwork are
common themes throughout the programs.

For example, when Putt-Putt arrives on the Moon, he discovers that Rover
was left behind by the astronauts on their last mission. By working
together, Putt-Putt and Rover accomplish good deeds for the Moon People,
build a rocket, and meet the Man in the Moon before returning safely to
Earth.

The interactive children's story features cute, appealing characters,
'cartoon style' graphics, fully digitized speech, and a delightful
soundtrack that enables youngsters to progress through the program
independently. An upbeat, musical soundtrack, provided by "The Fat Man,"
George Alistair Sanger and his Grammy award-winning friends, Floyd Domino,
Dave Sanger, and Nick Connoly, provide Putt-Putt and young audiences with
the most jammin' Junior Adventures tunes yet.

"Interactive children's storytelling is an emerging art form that is as
comfortable on the desktop as it is in the living room," said Ron Gilbert,
Humongous designer. "By providing Putt-Putt and all our other stories in a
variety of formats, we're able to bring quality entertainment into the
home for families."

Putt-Putt Goes to the Moon is available for $49.95 at retail outlets
nationwide. Other Humongous titles include Putt-Putt Joins the Parade,
Putt-Putt's Fun Pack, Fatty Bear's Birthday Surprise, and Fatty Bear's Fun
Pack. All are designed for Macintosh, IBM PC and compatible computers,
CD-ROM, and the 3DO multiplayer.

System requirements for the IBM PC version of Putt-Putt Goes to the Moon
include 12 mHz 286 or faster, 640K of RAM, VGA card and a hard drive. No
sound card is required for digitized speech. Sound is supported on IBM PC
Internal Speaker, Sound Blaster, Sound Blaster Pro, Pro Audio Spectrum,
Disney Sound Source, Microsoft Card, Covox Speech Thing, and Sound
Master.

The Macintosh version of the program requires a Performa, Centris, or
Quadra Series computer, 2 MB of free RAM, and an 8-bit color card. There
are no special hardware requirements for the 3DO player.

Humongous Entertainment is the innovator in interactive children's
storytelling and the development of innovative technologies. Established
in 1992 by Shelley Day and Ron Gilbert, Humongous is one of the first
companies to release its product line for the 3DO.
