CE Software Ships QuickMail Remote with Wireless Support

Provides Complete Wireless Solution with the Intel Wireless Modem and RAM
Mobile Data

SAN FRANCISCO, January 5, 1994 - CE SOFTWARE HOLDINGS, INC. (NASDAQ/NMS
Symbol:CESH) today announced the release of a wireless version of
QuickMail, the leading electronic mail system for Macintosh computers.
QuickMail Remote with Wireless Support allows mobile users to send and
receive electronic mail easily and reliably over RAM Mobile Data's
nationwide wireless data networks using an AT-compatible Intel Wireless
Modem. QuickMail Remote with Wireless Support is available as a single
user package, or as part of a complete solution including the QuickMail
Remote software and the Intel Wireless Modem.

The first wireless solution available for the LAN-based Macintosh E-Mail
market, QuickMail Remote with Wireless Support allows QuickMail users to
communicate virtually anytime, anywhere without using a phone line. This
latest release offers users who are away from the office wireless access
to their QuickMail mailbox, providing up-to-the minute, time critical
information. Additionally, QuickMail Remote users now have the flexibility
to select between wireless connectivity or their traditional modem
connection.

No additional training is needed to use QuickMail Remote with Wireless
Support because it displays the familiar award-winning QuickMail
interface. CE Software has, however, added message filtering to the
interface to display the size of each message a user has received. This
allows users to better estimate the time and cost associated with
retrieving a message.

With QuickMail Remote, users exchange E-mail from a Macintosh equipped with
an Intel Wireless Modem. The messages travel over RAM's wireless data
networks to the user's QuickMail server also connected to an Intel
Wireless Modem (server version) on the user's local area network. The
E-Mail message is delivered with notification to the recipient's QuickMail
mailbox.

"Wireless support takes QuickMail Remote to a higher level of mobile
computing," said Ford Goodman, president and CEO of CE Software.
"Additionally, by selling QuickMail Remote with Wireless Support and the
Intel Wireless Modem in a single package, our customers have the
convenience of a complete wireless messaging solution."

"A leader in the Macintosh E-Mail market, CE Software is also leading the
way with the first wireless solution for the LAN-based Macintosh E-Mail
market," said Martin S. Levetin, senior vice-president of RAM Mobile Data.
"Combined with RAM's service coverage in over 6,300 cities and towns, CE
Software's wireless solution provides additional value to their mobile
QuickMail customers."

"We are pleased that CE Software is joining Intel in providing the benefits
of wireless communications to the users of remote electronic mail," said
Jean-Claude Comet, vice president and general manager of Personal Computer
Enhancement Division - Mobile, Intel Corporation. "CE Software's wireless
solution adds great new flexibility for users of QuickMail and provides an
additional choice for the mobile computing professional."

QuickMail Remote with Wireless Support has a suggested retail price of
$295. The all-in-one wireless solution, including the QuickMail software
and the Intel Wireless Modem, is available at a suggested retail price of
$ 1,100. Both the QuickMail Remote with Wireless Support single user
package and the bundle are available through CE Software's authorized
resellers. RAM is offering QuickMail customers an introductory six months
of flat-rate, unlimited messaging for $75 per month. Standard charges for
using RAM's networks are as little as $25 per month for 100 kilobytes. For
