RESPOND IMMEDIATELY TO HOME EMERGENCIES WITH QUORUM INTERNATIONAL'S PANIC
DIALER

PHOENIX, Arizona, January 14, 1994 -- When any type of emergency strikes --
be it an intruder, fire or accident - panic is often the first response.
Now Quorum International, a leading distributor of personal, home and
vehicle security and safety products, helps reduce the stress of panic
situations with the Panic Dialer automated emergency dialing system.

Quorum's Panic Dialer enables consumers, especially senior citizens and
families with small children, to receive assistance from several sources
simply by pressing a button. Once programmed, the Panic Dialer is set to
respond to an emergency situation by autodialing up to four preset phone
numbers and deliver one of three prerecorded distress messages.

Homeowners have two options when programming their Panic Dialer. The Panic
Dialer's M1/POLICE, M2/FIRE, M3/EMERGENCY and PANIC buttons can either be
programmed with phone numbers of family, friends and neighbors or, where
permitted, with the phone numbers of an emergency response agency. All
Panic Dialer owners must check with each emergency response agency to
confirm that they allow automated dialing and message delivery before
programming the agency's phone number into the unit.

After programming the four phone numbers, consumers can then prerecord up
to three distress messages which will be delivered when the Panic Dialer
is activated. Each prerecorded message should include the homeowner's
name, address, phone number and specific type of assistance required.

Once completely programmed, the Panic Dialer can be easily operated in two
ways. In an extreme emergency, homeowners press the PANIC button on the
Panic Dialer base or remote control. The Panic Dialer will immediately
sound a blaring alarm, automatically dial up to four preset phone numbers
and deliver the preprogrammed message under M1/POLICE button.

After waiting for a response, the Panic Dialer moves on to dialing the next
phone number. The Panic Dialer will continue dialing until all selected
phone numbers have been answered or until the unit's personalized password
is entered to deactivate the autodial process. As each call is answered,
the Panic Dialer delivers the prerecorded message and activates the unit's
speakerphone which allows two-way communication between the homeowner and
the party called for 30 seconds.

Homeowners can also deliver a specific emergency message without engaging
the system's alarm. By pressing the M1/POLICE, M2/FIRE, or M3/EMERGENCY
buttons on remote control, the Panic Dialer will automatically initiate
the calling process, dialing the designated phone number and delivering
the corresponding message without sounding the alarm.

In addition to delivering immediate distress messages, the Panic Dialer
also features an outgoing message (OGM) option which allows homeowners to
notify callers that they are unable to answer the telephone and to call
back at a later time. Available for a suggested retail price of $279.95,
the Panic Dialer comes equipped with a speed dialing feature and a back-up
battery for emergency power.
