Smart Switching On Any PC

RENO, Nevada - AccuSys, Inc. announces a new 32 Switch Reed Relay Card that
is far more versatile and advanced than any other PC based switching
solution. This board offers simple to operate and completely configurable
low power management of analog or digital signals for home, industrial,
agricultural automation and test applications. The Card is currently used
in such diverse applications as flight and ship simulators, home
automation, irrigation systems, modem switching, even model train track
operation. The 32 Switch Reed Relay Card enables PC's to control real
world applications by smoothly switching any signal.

Key benefits of this new board are flexibility and simplicity. The expanded
options connector enables more switch configurations than other switch
cards. New circuitry enables status checks of any relay with a simple
software inquiry. A new Windows application "Win-Switch" (available
separately) offers simple control and relay scheduling with an easy to use
graphic interface. Thanks to a broad selection of addressing options you
can populate any ISA slot compatible system with as many cards as a system
has slots available. That means a single PC can easily control hundreds of
signals. Users will also appreciate more detailed documentation and
reference material. This is far better than any other PC based switching
solution.

The enhanced options connector makes this card exceptionally versatile.
Conditional and multi-conditional switching combinations are easy to
create by wire wrapping conveniently placed pin headers. If an application
requires a lot of specially wired cards, AccuSys produces
mini-daughterboards for easy replication of special relay
interconnections. An optional B-side connector is also available providing
discrete access to both sides of all relays.

The ability to check relay status through software greatly simplifies
application development. That means no maintenance of switch setting
tables or listings. New circuitry allows you to easily read a byte at your
pre-defined port address to see whether a relay is off or on.

This board offers the freedom to choose relays that fit your application
needs. Cards are shipped standard with 100 volt relays, but are also
available in 200 volt, mercury wetted, normally closed and socketed
versions. These higher voltage, lower resistance, upgradeable, and
replaceable switch options give broader choices for PC interaction with
equipment, sensors, industrial interfaces and controls.

The new Windows control software "Win-Switch" greatly simplifies operation
of the 32 Switch Reed Relay Card. Easy to follow on screen instructions
show how to setup the card and operate switches right from the screen.
Create switch setting templates you can easily duplicate and/or transfer
to other systems. "WinSwitch" also includes a scheduler that enables
effortless timed and background relay operation. This uncomplicated
interface really makes automation more automatic by simplifying real time,
scheduled, and background relay operation.

The 32 Switch Card sells for $395 and includes software primitives in
Assembler, Basic, C, Fortran, Cobol, FoxPro and dBase. The separate B-side
connector cable sells for $29. "Win-Switch" is available at $89.95. All
products are backed by a complete one year warranty against defects in
material or handiwork and are shipping now.
