Video-game manufacturers are geared up for another big year. Topping the
list of what to look for in software are many, many sports games;
including basketball, soccer, hockey, football, tennis and baseball.

Acclaim will be releasing NBA Jam, a new basketball title scheduled for
release March 4th. Another sports title to be introduced is a soccer game
called Champions World Class Soccer. Also scheduled for release this year
are SpiderMan Venom Maximum Carnage; Itchy & Scratchy (based on The
Simpsons); Monster Truck Wars; and titles based on 1994 movie releases.

Accolade will be introducing their Sports Accolade brand of games in '94
(see separate press releases for details). New introductions include
Charles Barkley Basketball, Shut Up and Jam; Pele Soccer; Brett Hull
Hockey; and another Hardball version. For the Atari Jaguar, look for Al
Michaels Announces HardBall III, Brett Hull Hockey, Charles Barkley
Basketball and Jack Nicklaus' Power Challenge Golf. Non-sports titles for
'94 include Speed Racer and Bubsy 2.

Electronic Arts and its EA Sports brand are adding more titles in '94 also.
EA has introduced a 4-way play adapter for the Genesis, allowing four
people to play at once. Last year EA released 16 titles for Sega Genesis
and 4 SNES titles. For this year, EA plans on introducing various titles
on Sega CD, including Bill Walsh College Football (already in Genesis &
SNES formats); and NHL Hockey. For 16-bit formats, FIFA International
Soccer will offer three-quarter style top-down perspective that allows the
player to see more of the field and gives them the best possible control
of the action.

Less than six months after entering the children's software market, EA
Kids, a division of Electronic Arts, has won the National Parenting Center
Seal of Approval for two EA Kids software programs: Scooter's magic Castle
and Eagle Eye Mysteries.

Revell-Monogram's European Racers Power Modeler is being released for Sega
CD in February. It combines model building with video game playing. The
MS-DOS version released in '93 was awarded a silver medal in the New York
Festival's International Interactive Multimedia Awards competition in
October 1993.

In a move to expand its Activision for Kids game library, Activision will
debut two interactive CD-ROM games for kids based on books by the popular
children's author, Richard Scarry. Richard Scarry's Best Neighborhood and
Richard Scarry's Busiest Neighborhood will be released on CD-ROM for IBM
PCs and compatibles in January. The Macintosh CD-ROM versions will be
available in March.

TecMagik introduces Pink Goes to Hollywood, a "Toongame" for Sega Genesis
and Super Nintendo where The Pink Panther visits different movie sets
trying to get through the 12-level maze.

Kaneko introduces Fido Dido for SNES and Genesis, with each format having
its own unique storyline and game play.

Sunsoft brings Warner Bros.' Bugs Bunny to Super NES for his first video
game venture.

Codemasters' Excellent Dizzy Collection is three games in one cartridge: a
puzzle game, Panic! Dizzy; an action game, Go, Dizzy! Go!; and an
adventure game, Dizzy the Adventurer.

Konami will be releasing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Tournament Fighters
for SNES and Sega Genesis; winner of the Editors Choice Gold Award from
Electronic Games Monthly in November 1993.

Sega indicates their company will be focusing on the 6 to 12 year old
market in the coming year. Some Sega titles include: Ren and Stimpy,
Barney's Hide & Seek, and Disney's Aladdin.

Nintendo is introducing Ken Griffey Jr. Presents: Major League Baseball;
NHL Stanley Cup hockey; Stunt Race FX; Super Metroid; and Sound Fantasy,
all for SNES.

Nintendo is working on Project Reality, scheduled for home entertainment
release in 1995, with first looks in video arcades in 1994. This system is
a joint development effort with Silicon Graphics to produce a
three-dimensional, 64-bit Nintendo machine. The system will be the first
to apply Reality Immersion Technology, a new generation of video
entertainment that enables players to step inside real-time 3-D worlds --
with realistic graphics, high-fidenlity audio, and record-setting speed.
