NEW PROGRAM HELPS EMPLOYERS DOCUMENT WORKER ACTIVITY

Paradigm Software Development, of Seattle Washington, has announced the
release of its WORKWISE-Employee File program.

WORKWISE-Employee File is a Microsoft Windows-based program designed to
reduce a business' legal exposure to wrongful termination and
discrimination suits by bolstering the front-line manager's documentation
of employee activity. With emphasis on the managed work group, Paradigm
has developed an easy to use program that addresses the functional needs
of small and medium sized business markets which have been largely ignored
by traditional human resource management programs.

"We've turned traditional human resource management upside down," claims
Paradigm's president, Cliff Monlux. "We focus on operations, providing
managers with a tool to quickly and easily document attendance trends,
injuries and safety violations, disciplinary warnings, and other
occurrences that often slip through cracks in a company's reporting." This
enables mid- and high-level management to easily view trends and
performance analysis across the entire company, or within a particular
department, according to Monlux.

WORKWISE-Employee File starts at $395 for the single user version, and
provides a simple-to-operate tool that incorporates some of the most
advanced PC-based software technologies. "We feel these applications have
the potential to bring sophisticated human resource management to the
smaller businesses that need it, and to provide medium and large
businesses with a new, straight forward, and more accurate view of their
operations," said Monlux.

Paradigm designed WORKWISE-Employee File to allow for easy integration with
other products. By using the Access database engine WORKWISE-Employee File
allows for data encryption, full SQL compliance, and an open door to
extensive customized reporting. Vertical Connection of Seattle, WA
provides an example of the integration Paradigm intends to promote. They
image enabled WORKWISE-Employee File using Paperclip Imaging Software.
When viewing an employee's file, a hot-key lets the manager page through
scanned images of a worker's application, W2 forms, driver's license,
training certificates and other records employers are required to keep.

Paradigm released WORKWISE-Employee Scheduling on September sixth, and has
scheduled WORKWISE-Time Clock to be released on March first. Each WORKWISE
module operates independently, and also integrates fully with the others.
WORKWISE-Employee File will operate on computers using a 386sx or greater
processor, and networks supporting Microsoft Windows. For more information
