Xiphias Enhances CD-ROM Line

Xiphias dramatically enhances its CD-ROM based line of products through:

 1) the introduction of four new products,
 2) the revision of four original products,
 3) the exploitation of both Quicktime and Quicktime for
Windows in the production of multiplatform CDs, and finally
 4) the announcement of a major advance in entertainment software
    technology.

Xiphias introduces four new products: Kathy Smith' Fat Burning System on
CD-ROM, SOFT KILL, Illustrated Facts: How the World Works, and Illustrated
Facts: How Things Work. All four debut at the Chicago Consumer Electronics
Show this week, and will ship in August for the PC and the Mac.

Xiphias revises four of its well-established products: Time Table of
History: Science and Innovation, Time Table of History: Business Politics
and Media, Time Table of History: Arts and Entertainment, and the New
Basics Electronic Cookbook. All the Time Tables have been enhanced with
video from the CBS News Archives and hundreds of new stories covering
events occurring since the products were last revised in 1992.. The New
Basics Electronic Cookbook has been improved with almost half an hour of
originally produced video.

Each one of Xiphias new products exploits Apple's Quicktime and Quicktime
for Windows technologies. The results are faster, cleaner video playback
on both Mac and PC platforms, and the ability to produce one CD-ROM disc
for use on both Mac and PC platforms using the same multimedia files.
Retailers will only have to stock only one SKU.

For one product, the interactive story SOFT RILL, Xiphias signed a
ground-breaking labor agreement with the American Federation of Television
and Radio Artists (AFTRA), in order to secure the services of an array of
top notch actors.

All four of the new products will exploit Xiphias's ground-breaking Matrix
Interface's, designed to set new standards for consumer oriented software
in simplicity of use, and robustness of design.

Xiphias is located at 8758 Venice Boulevard, LA, CA 90034. Phone (310) 841
