NDX RELEASES DYNAMIND DEVELOPER PRO

Suite of Neural Network Tools Now Available in Unix Environment

Boulder, CO -- March 1, 1994 -- NeuroDynamX, Inc. (NDX) announced the
release of DynaMind Developer Pro, a suite of neural network software
tools for the Unix environment. The DynaMind Developer Pro development
package includes a comprehensive set of linkable C routines, a
sophisticated scripting language for neural net training and testing, and
neural network chip emulation.

Comprehensive Neural Net Library

The central component of the package is NeuroLink Version 4.0, a library of
over 100 C routines for integrating neural networks into host
applications. For image and signal processing, NeuroLink supports Local
Receptive Field (LRF) neural networks for creating "trainable" feature
maps and object recognition filters. The library also offers Modular
Neural Networks, a training paradigm that combines several independent
nets to tackle complex applications, such as data fusion or signal
blending. For pattern classification applications like quality control and
failure diagnosis, the package supports Radial Basis Function networks for
very fast training and accurate classification. Back Propagation,
Recurrent Back Propagation, Probabilistic Neural Network (PNN), Learning
Vector Quantization (LVQ) and K-Means Clustering are also supported, as
are user-designed training algorithms.

Scripting Language Streamlines Development

To support rapid generation and testing of multiple networks, DynaMind
Developer Pro features NeuroScript, a high-level scripting language. Users
can batch-train multiple networks, or optimize network performance by
building and training multiple configurations of a single network.
NeuroScript gives extensive, neuron-level control of network parameters,
custom reporting capabilities and pre-defined script templates.

Hardware Support

For users interested in putting networks into hardware, DynaMind Developer
Pro provides the ability to emulate the Intel 80170NX Electrically
Trainable Analog Neural Network (ETANN) chip and Intel's ETANN Multi-Chip
Board, which links up to eight ETANN chips.

Special versions of DynaMind Developer Pro are also available for the NDX
Neural Accelerators, VME expansion cards with processing speeds up to 45
million connections per second in recall mode.
