Product Demonstration Packages Combine Evaluation with Training

ISS Releases Tutorial Series for Plant Design and Facilities Management

Calgary, Alberta, Canada, February 24, 1994 - International Software
Systems Inc. (ISS) today announced the release of a series of five fully
functional computer-aided plant design demonstration packages: CADPIPE
"Training for Tomorrow" tutorials. The tutorials for the CADPIPE ORTHO,
ISO, P&ID/FORMS, INTERact and HVAC modules are comprehensive, offering
extensive documentation and a database that allows designers to actually
work with the software. Because the tutorials are fully operational, they
are an easy and efficient way for users to evaluate the different
programs.

Previously, plant designers could only arrange for evaluation copies of the
complete software modules--with a lengthy manual and numerous disks--for a
limited period. However, this was a time-consuming and inconvenient
process for evaluation. Now, the CADPIPE tutorials make this process
easier, and they are a completely functional introduction to the world of
computerized design.

"We call them 'Training for Tomorrow' because once you've worked through
the tutorials, you're trained on CADPIPE," explained Don Chapman,
President of International Software Systems. "These tutorials are unique
in the way they combine evaluation and training in one step."

The CADPIPE ORTHO Tutorial introduces the user to fast and easy
orthographic drawings and the power of automatic isometrics. The ISO
Tutorial demonstrates how quickly the designer can work. The P&ID Tutorial
shows how the package acts as a check on design; INTERact helps companies
meet the new OSHA requirements and provides an Audit Trail on all P&IDs, a
graphical interfaced information system. The HVAC (heating, ventilating
and air conditioning) Tutorial illustrates just how easy computer-aided
design and drafting can be.

International Software Systems (ISS) develops and markets AutoCAD-based
plant design software products, collectively known as CADPIPE, for the
