INTECOLOR ANNOUNCES VERSATILE 20" INDUSTRIAL MONITOR

DULUTH, GA, March 11, 1994 -- Intecolor has developed a state-of-the-art,
20" variable scan monitor for the industrial market. The Intecolor V80
monitor supports resolutions from 640 x 480 to 1600 x 1280 with a .28 mm
dot pitch CRT. Features like high bandwidth differential video inputs,
dynamic focus and a high contrast INVAR shadow mask CRT provide the
sharpest, brightest images possible.

"Since the unit scans from 30 to 80 kHz, it will be of special interest to
industrial users who want the ultimate in graphics resolution combined
with standard VGA capability," stated Chris Rodie, Product Manager. "It
will also be useful as a general purpose display by those who, up to now,
have had to stock different monitors for different applications."

The Intecolor V80 boasts a vibration tolerance of 1.59G operating, the
highest of any industrial monitor on the market. The MTBF (mean time
between failure) is over 60,000 hours at 25 degrees Celsius. "We
specifically design the V80 for optimal worldwide performance in harsh
environments, over wide ranges of input voltage," states Rodie.
"Ruggedness and reliability are built in at all levels of the design."

The V80 is available in a variety of enclosure styles, including desktop,
rackmount, industrial benchtop and NEMA 4 panelmount. An open chassis
configuration is available for installation in custom consoles. Many
options are available including integrated touchscreens.

The Intecolor V80 is compatible with most PC/AT graphics card or high-end
graphic engines like HP, Sun, DEC, and Silicon Graphics. All
configurations are available now. Pricing starts at $2250.
Founded in 1973, Intecolor is a leading manufacturer of human-machine
interface systems for the industrial control industry. Its complete line
of monitors, workstations and custom products is available in a wide range
