THREE-IN-ONE CAMERA PERFECT FOR THE CLASSROOM

February 17, 1994 -- Minneapolis, MN--VideoLabs DocuCam, an exciting new
high-technology desktop presentation camera for the education market, was
announced today by VideoLabs. The new camera was designed to meet the
specific presentation needs for various medical, classroom and other
applications. DocuCam is immediately available at an extremely low price.

In the classroom environment, VideoLabs' DocuCam has several important uses
including using it as a "personal" or primary camera positioned directly
in front of the instructor for lecture and presentation. With a simple
twist of the head, it can easily be implemented as the "secondary" or
document camera to point-and-click textbooks or the chalkboard. Then, by
using the manual focus ring, DocuCam can be used as a magnifier, expanding
small print and/or 3-D objects (such as a dissected frog) up to 50:1, when
shown on a large screen monitor.

Designed to compete with Elmo, Canon, Panasonic and other overhead
"document cameras," DocuCam offers equivalent capability at less than half
the price of other cameras.

DocuCam's sharp 8mm lens precisely images 8" x 12" documents when the neck
is fully extended. The lens may also be focused down to 1-inch, which
effectively produces "microscopic" magnification of 50:1 when viewed on a
25-inch monitor.

"This is the first high-quality document camera offered at this price,"
according to Ward C. Johnson, VideoLabs' president. Ult offers extremely
sharp NTSC or PAL color output and excellent low-light capabilities. It
compares favorably both in price and performance to other document
cameras, including the Elmo and Canon, available for $2,000 and more."

VideoLabs' DocuCam has more than 270,000 pixels and outputs 350 TV lines of
resolution. In addition, it offers a flexible 18-inch "gooseneck" design
as was first offered on FlexCam. DocuCam offers a video pass-through
connection which allows the user to "diasy chain" cameras. Its automatic
iris optimizes the camera for document capture.
