VREAM ANNOUNCES PRICE BREAKTHROUGH ON PRODUCTION VERSION OF ITS VIRTUAL
REALITY DEVELOPMENT SYSTEM

$795.00 price tag makes VREAM the most affordable, full featured Virtual
Reality development system available, providing support for texturing,
multiple interface devices, and an easy to use graphical user interface.

CHICAGO, IL. -- VREAM, a company dedicated to bringing virtual reality to
the consumer marketplace, announced the production release of the VREAM
Virtual Reality Development System for the PC last August. The complete
VREAM System, which allows for the development and execution of fully
interactive, textured virtual worlds on a PC, is available for a
breakthrough price of $795.00. The ease of use of the VREAM System,
combined with its low cost, makes true virtual reality technology
available to the consumer marketplace, small businesses, and educational
institutions.

VREAM System Provides Complete Solution for Developing Virtual Reality
Applications

The VREAM Virtual Reality Development System is distinctive because it
provides a complete virtual reality development and execution environment
in a single, low cost, easy to use package. No user programming is
required, and no additional interface hardware is required, thus providing
an ideal entry level virtual reality system. For users interested in using
specialized interface hardware, the VREAM system supports a variety of
devices, including head-mounted displays, 3D tracking systems, 3D mice,
gloves and 3D ball controllers.

Innovative Design Allows for Fast World Creation

The VREAM Virtual Reality Development System consists of two major
components: The VREAM 3D World Editor and the VREAM Runtime System. The
VREAM 3D World Editor allows the user to draw the objects that comprise
the three dimensional virtual world, using a set of 3D drawing tools.
Within the 3D World Editor, the user can also define the logical link
structures that will make the virtual world fully interactive.

Once the virtual world is defined, the VREAM Runtime System allows the user
to immediately enter the world and interact with it in real time. The user
may walk through the virtual world, objects may be grabbed and moved with
the user controlled hand, and the defined logical link structures will
become active.

Separately Available Runtime Systems Will Allow VREAM Virtual Worlds to be
Experienced

In addition to the Virtual Reality Development System, VREAM has also
released separately available versions of the VREAM Runtime System. The
VREAM Runtime System, priced at $59.00, allows the user to enter and
interact with VREAM virtual worlds using a standard joystick, mouse, and
keyboard. The Advanced VREAM Runtime System, priced at $295.00, allows the
user to enter and interact with VREAM virtual worlds using the full range
of low-end and high-end interface devices supported by the VREAM System,
including head mounted displays, 3D tracking systems, and gloves.

The VREAM Virtual Reality Software requires an IBM compatible 386, 486, or
Pentium based computer system running MS-DOS, four megabytes of RAM, a
math co-processor, and a standard VGA graphics board.
