FLOPPY DRIVE PLUGS INTO PCMCIA SLOT

The 2000 Series portable floppy-disk drive connects to a computer through
its PCMCIA slot. The 3.5-in. form factor drive comes complete with the
PCMCIA-card connection, cable, and power supply. Because floppy disks are
relatively inexpensive, this setup can become an alternative to employing
flash-memory cards. No software drivers are required. The driver issues
are handled using the card-socket services of the PCMCIA slot. The unit is
compatible with the latest PCMCIA standards and fits in a Type II slot.
Available now, it sells for $399.
