Logitech Introduces Value-Priced Stationary Trackball With Innovative
Design

"First Trackball" Offers Comfort, Style and Versatility at a Low Price

Fremont, Calif. -- April 25,1994: Logitech, Inc., international market
leader in pointing devices for personal computers, announced today First
Trackball, a value-priced, stationary trackball ideal for crowded
desktops. Its stationary, ambidextrous, award-winning industrial design
reduces fatigue and strain for greater productivity and safety. First
Trackball will be available through Logitech in late April at a suggested
retail price of $59.99, making it an excellent value for the home or
office.

First Trackball's technical excellence and ergonomic styling demonstrate
Logitech's continuing commitment to "humanizing" the human-to-computer
interface. First Trackball is designed symmetrically for comfortable use
by left- and right-handed users. The ergonomic shape conforms naturally to
the shape of the hand, with the ball located directly under the user's
fingertip, for maximum comfort over extended hours of computing.

"Logitech is committed to offer users a variety of quality, low-cost
pointing devices," says Deborah Davis, Logitech product manager. "People
spend so much time at their computers today, and comfort is a big concern.
We want to give people the opportunity to choose from more than one kind
of mouse or trackball to find the one that's most comfortable for them.
First Trackball offers users another high quality, Logitech trackball to
choose from."

Packaged with MouseKey software, First Trackball's two button design is
customizable for faster, more comfortable use. The software allows users
to adjust cursor sensitivity and avoid repetitive functions, such as
double-click. Another comfort feature of the product lies in the trackball
itself, which is smaller than typical trackballs, requiring less force to
move the cursor.

Logitech manufactures and designs input devices that are easy to install
and use. First Trackball joins the company's popular TrackMan family of
products to meet the growing demand for variety in pointing devices.
Logitech has shipped more than 40 million input devices worldwide.

Logitech designs, manufactures and markets "Senseware"--products intended
to give human-like senses such a s sight, sound and touch to the computer,
making human-to-computer communications more intuitive and natural.
Logitech International, the financial holding company for the Logitech
Group, is traded publicly in Switzerland on the Geneva and Zurich
exchanges. With operational headquarters in Fremont, Calif., the group
maintains manufacturing facilities in Fremont, California; Hsinchu,
Taiwan; Cork, Ireland; Shanghai, China; and Taiping, Malaysia; and offices
in major cities in North America, Europe and the Far East.
