Trinzic Introduces the Aion Development System (AionDS) 6.4 For Windows and
OS/2 PM

AionDS V6.4 Provides a Powerful Visual Development Environment for
Integrating Business Rules and Objects into Client/Server Applications

Palo Alto, CA, April 27, 1994--Trinzic Corporation (NASDAQ:TRNZ) today
introduced a major upgrade to the company's visual development environment
for building business process automation applications. The new Aion
Development System (AionDS) Version 6.4 provides users with a visual
development environment for Microsoft Windows or OS/2 Presentation Manager
(PM) applications utilizing business rules and objects. AionDS is an
advanced development tool for "run-the-business" applications that require
complex business logic. AionDS 6.4 features improved development
productivity on GUI workstations and integration in client/server
environments.

"Corporations today are embracing business process re-engineering on a
broad scale," said Bob Payne, Trinzic Vice President and General Manager
for Application Development Tools. "Business process automation (BPA)
delivers the efficiencies these corporations are working towards in their
re-engineering process. AionDS is a proven tool for building BPA
applications. The Version 6.4 product extensions on Microsoft Windows and
OS/2 are significant because organizations can now more productively
develop and integrate these critical applications in client/server
environments. "

Powerful Business Logic Processing for Client/Server

AionDS is a general application development environment for applications
that require complex business logic. The rule-based and object-oriented
components of AionDS represent and process business policies and data with
minimal manual programming, and the client/server and graphical execution
facilities support distributed delivery in commercial environments. Using
AionDS, developers commonly build applications or components of
applications that they could not productively develop or maintain without
a rules-based approach. AionDS is typically used for strategic
applications such as product and sales configuration, credit card fraud
detection, production or personnel scheduling, product and service
cross-selling, and underwriting.

AionDS Exploits Windows and OS/2 Presentation Manager Capabilities

AionDS 6.4 leverages the powerful GUI capabilities of the Windows and PM
environments to improve developer productivity for GUI or character-based
applications. New class library support for Microsoft's Dynamic Data
Exchange (DDE) capability simplifies integration and communication between
the business rules of AionDS and the popular Windows applications. In
addition, Open Database Connectivity (ODBC) support and extended native
database interfaces for popular commercial database management systems
expand the range of data sources supported on both the client and server
platforms. The net effect is a more open development environment
supporting more types of client/server data and services.

Application Portability with AionDS on IBM MVS, AIX and SunOS Platforms

Business applications built with Trinzic's AionDS Version 6.4 can be ported
to mainframe and midrange platforms where AionDS is currently available.
Corporations can deliver applications built and tested on the Windows and
OS/2 platforms in IBM MVS, Sun SunOS and IBM AIX environments with little
or no change to application code. CICS, IMS and IDMS environments are
supported under MVS.

Customers Respond To Graphical Enhancements

Piet Diependaele from BACOB Bank in Belgium which is using AionDS 6.4 for
commercial advisory systems on loans, remarks, "The availability of DDE
within AionDS Version 6.4 makes it much easier to connect our AionDS
applications with other applications in PowerBuilder and in Excel. We also
use a library for graphics presentations from our AionDS applications.
These connections were possible before but thanks to support for DDE it is
now much simpler. "

"We are very happy with the ODBC interface in AionDS 6.4 because now we can
use SQL functionality to access, in a standard way using only one
interface, a broader range of databases on the PC like Microsoft Access,
FoxPro, Paradox, MS/SQLServer, and dBase," adds Cor Baars from the Centre
of Knowledge Technologies, a top training and consulting company in
Holland. "We have tested the ODBC functions and they worked perfectly."

Additionally, an experienced AionDS customer in oil and gas remarked after
using the beta product, "I think the visual impact of the product is
striking. All of a sudden, Trinzic may have leapfrogged some other,
better-known graphical tools."

Pricing and Availability

AionDS for Windows and AionDS for OS/2 Presentation Manager are currently
in customer test and will be generally available in June of this year.
AionDS for Windows and OS/2 PM is priced at $9,000 per unit (with volume
