WinSales, Inc., maker of a Windows based sales and marketing automation
program by the same name, releases v2.0.

Introducing the "Out and About" feature which allows the corporate database
and remote (laptop) database to synchronize at the push of a button.

April 15, 1994 -- WinSales adds to the information on-ramp with
Out-and-About data synchronization in their version 2.0 software by the
same name. WinSales of Kent, WA, offers a Windows sales and marketing
automation program which allows everyone in an organization to synchronize
new information they have gathered about their customers - whether on the
road, from their home or down the hall in a meeting.

With version 2.0, WinSales adds the ability to synchronize data between
remote and corporate WinSales' databases, as well as provide group and
function level security. Out-and-About gives Perpetual Motion Executives
(PMXs), who are always on the go, the ability to gather information in the
field, schedule follow-up correspondence to be executed later by the
corporate administrative staff. When a synch is initiated with the home
office, the PMX can choose to transfer new WinSales database records and
any new MS Word, Lotus AmiPro or WordPerfect documents - automatically. In
addition, they can pick up new "to-do's", update changes in schedules of
other staffmembers and get updated on inbound or outbound activity for
prospects or clients.

WinSales perfected the integration of the marketing communications into the
selling process by automating the way a company works with a prospect.
WinSales gives you the tools to grow a cold lead into a customer with the
Action Plan feature introduced in November, 1993. Action Plans allow sales
managers to direct and execute a multiple step process which determines
how and when a prospect is contacted. Sales managers can direct the type
and frequency of contact during the selling cycle.

Founded in 1991, WinSales' President and several of his staff were
responsible for developing and implementing a number of key programs
internally for Microsoft. The company is privately held and is seeking to
raise significant capital in the next several months. "We've really held
back from the venture people until we added the Out-and-About feature to
WinSales," says Bill Pernsteiner, President and founder of WinSales, Inc.
"Sales and marketing software is one of the fastest growing segments of
the software industry and we have come in at a whole new level with the
WinSales v2.0 integrated marketing communications program", he continued.
WinSales is $495 for a single user and $1,495 for a network of 5 users.
Upgrades are $195 for a single user and $395 for a network of 5 users.
