Mainstay Schedule Demonstrated:
Project Planning and Tracking Application for Windows

San Jose, CA, March 15, 1994--Mainstay today demonstrated Mainstay Schedule
for Windows, an easy to learn and use application for planning and
tracking projects.

Mainstay Schedule for Windows is based on the best-selling Macintosh
application, Mainstay Schedule for Macintosh. Mainstay Schedule creates
Gantt charts quickly and simply; automatically creating a calendar when
opened. Settings can be changed for fiscal years, calendar years,
quarters, months, half-months, weeks, days, or hours. Users just enter
tasks along the left side of the chart and draw job bars to show the
length of each task. Status tracking is easy too--work progress, early and
late starts, and schedule slips are entered with a mouse click.

Graphics can be pasted into Mainstay Schedule and all the various aspects
of a schedule, including job bars and chart lines, can be colorized.
Mainstay Schedule for Windows supports VGA-color display and color
printing.

Mainstay Schedule has integrated spreadsheet and graphing capabilities to
tie data to schedule tasks. It uses Earned Value Analysis, a method of
relating value, cost, and progress, to give a simple indication of overall
financial and schedule status. Mainstay Schedule can link multiple layers
of schedules together for hierarchical organization.

Mainstay Schedule for Windows runs under Microsoft Windows 3.1 and
maintains the same look and feel as its Macintosh counterpart. Mainstay
Schedule provides file-level compatibility between the Mac and Windows
versions.

"Mainstay is delivering on its cross-platform promises. Our customers can
now create, view, and exchange schedules on both Macs and PCs running
Windows," says Mainstay president Tom Nalevanko.

Release of Mainstay Schedule for Windows is planned for the second quarter
of 1994. The suggested retail price is $295.
