Photoshop Wow! for Windows

March 1994 -- Berkeley, CA--Last September, Peachpit introduced its
long-awaited Photoshop Wow! Book for the Mac, and it became an instant
bestseller (many weeks, rising to the top of the industry charts). Now,
for the very similar Windows version of the software, comes the Windows
edition of the book.

Meticulously printed in full color throughout, The Photoshop Wow! Book,
Windows Edition, contains five kinds of information: 1) the basics about
Photoshop's tools and functions; 2) short tips for making work quicker and
easier; 3) step-by-step techniques for particular kinds of projects; 4)
galleries of work done by experienced Photoshop artists; and 5)
illustrated lists of resources--the tools, utilities, images, and other
products that can make Photoshop even more valuable and easy to use.

The companion disk, which is bound in, contains filters from Kai's Power
Tools as well as several original filters, sets of macros, and utilities
created by the authors.

The co-authors, Linnea Dayton and Jack Davis, are seasoned veterans of
Photoshop and desktop publishing. Ms. Dayton is editor-in-chief of
Step-by-Step Electronic Design newsletter and electronic design editor of
Step-by-Step Graphics. Jack Davis is the former graphics editor of Verbum
magazine and has been a contributing author and illustrator for nine books
on creative computer graphics. He is principal of JHDavis Design, art
director of Presto Studios, and founder of the Computer Graphics Program
at Platt College. Both Linnea and Jack reside in the San Diego area.
