SAN JOSE, Calif. - March 27, 1995 - Accolade expects to delight both sports
and action/adventure enthusiasts with a trio of "Collection" products for
PC CD-ROM owners. The Star Control Collection, HardBall III Collection and
Jack Nicklaus Golf Tour Collection all feature several previously released
products on one CD. Each "Collection" is sold separately at the suggested
retail price of $29.95.

The Star Control Collection combines Star Control and Star Control II, both
award-winning games that have remained popular favorites from both the
press and the consumer since their original release in 1990 and 1992,
respectfully. Star Control combines elements of strategic challenge and
energizing arcade action, and is cleverly designed in such a way that
players who want only the excitement of starship-to-starship space battle
can forego the scheming and precise, step-by-step planning preferred by
strategic players. Star Control II: The Ur-Quan Masters is a hybrid
action/role-playing adventure set in the spectacular science fiction
universe established in the original, award-winning Star Control. This
sequel once again pits the player against the iron-clawed fascism of the
evil Ur-Quan Hierarchy. Both products remain graphically gorgeous even
years after their original release.

HardBall III: The Collection contains Accolade's award-winning baseball
simulation, Al Michaels Announces HardBall III and its two add-on disks,
HardBall III MLBPA Players Disk and HardBall III Big League Ballpark Disk.
HardBall III: The Collection offers gamers over 650 of today's major
league baseball stars on the fields of 26 authentic big league ballparks.
It offers superb graphics, endless playability and Major League realism.
It is a one or two player game in which players assume the role of team
manager supervising the players and controlling their performance. Players
can compete in exhibition games, a complete 162 game season including an
all-star game, play-offs and championship games. The product offers
instant replay, and the ability to save and print team and player
statistics right from the HardBall III program. Authentic play-by-play
commentary by legendary sportscaster, Al Michaels completes this
computerize baseball environment.

The MLBPA Players Disk features digitized color photographs of real players
from all 26 Major League teams. It provides baseball fans with an entire
league of players including the names, faces and statistics. The Big
League Ballpark Disk contains 18 stadiums (eight are included in HardBall
m) from around the U.S. Additional season schedules, including one for
expansion teams, are also provided. Each of the stadiums are rendered in
256-color VGA graphics and built to exact specifications to look and play
like real life, and include such authentic characteristics as the correct
distances to walls, and foul territories.

Jack Nicklaus Golf: The Tour Collection contains the best-selling Jack
Nicklaus Golf & Course Design: Signature Edition and two accessory course
disks, Jack Nicklaus Signature Tour Volume I and Jack Nicklaus Signature
Tour Volume 2. Jack Nicklaus Golf & Course Design: Signature Edition and
both accessory disks were developed in association with Jack Nicklaus and
Jack Nicklaus Productions. In Jack Nicklaus Golf & Course Design:
Signature Edition, golfers are challenged to two of Jack's finest course
designs: water intensive English Turn Golf Club (New Orleans), home of the
USF&G Classic, and rugged Sherwood Country Club (Thousand Oaks, CA), site
of the Franklin Fund Shoot-Out hosted by Greg Norman. The Course Designer
provides a remarkable utility for players to create their own signature
courses, complete with super-realistic objects and backgrounds, down to
the finest, most dazzling detail. And once a hole is created, it can be
played instantly.

Jack Nicklaus Signature Tour Volume I features two courses: The Links of
Muirfield in Scotland, site of the recent British Open and the site of
Jack Nicklaus' first British Open Championship and Muirfield Village Golf
Club in Ohio, site of Jack Nicklaus' annual Memorial Tournament. Jack
Nicklaus Signature Tour Volume 2 features two completely original courses
compiled from the winning entries to the 1993 Accolade Design Contest. The
"Design Contest" challenged computer golfers to create the perfect par 3,
par 4 or a par 5 golf hole using the course designer feature in the
Signature Edition.
