Frontier Technologies Wins Major Awards For Best of the Best Internet &
TCP/IP Networking Software

LAS VEGAS, NV--March 28, 1995--Frontier Technologies today receives the
second of two awards its SuperTCP Pro product has received so far this
year from respected computer networking publications. LAN Magazine will
tonight present Frontier Technologies with its 1995 Product of the Year
award in the TCP/IP category. This follows on the heels of the Frontier
Technologies' capture of Data Communications Tester's Choice Award for
TCP/IP products, announced in February. In addition, the company's
SuperHighway Access product was the only product to receive a five-star
rating in Computer Life Magazine's March review of internet access
products.

"We recently compared fourteen TCP/IP packages for the Microsoft Windows
environment. Frontier Technologies SuperTCP Pro was our pick from an
impressively wide field of candidates. This product is the Swiss Army
knife of the TCP/IP client: It has an implement for every application,"
stated the editors of LAN Magazine.

"The networking world is full of good products- so we have to look for
great products, ones that have distinguished themselves from the rest of
the pack. We searched far and wide for future network legends that are
smart, flashy, creative and that arrived on the market at just the right
time," LAN Magazine's Editors said in describing how the 1995 Products of
the Year were selected.

"SuperTCP Pro from Frontier Technologies Corporation took top honors
overall, thanks largely to a very simple installation routine and broad
range of general-purpose and Internet access applications," Data
Communications concluded.

Data Communications Magazine, published by McGraw-Hill and based in New
York City is a technology magazine targeted towards corporate networking
professionals. The magazine provides in-depth information regarding
technologies for local area networking, internetworking and wide area
networking. In the February 1995 issue of Data Communications Magazine,
David Newman, Testing Editor and Kevin Tolly, Director of the Data Comm
Test Lab compared nine leading Windows-based TCP/IP packages. The products
were evaluated in four basic categories: setup and general operation,
general applications, firewall compatibility, and Internet applications.

LAN Magazine, published by Miller-Freeman, Inc. and based in San Francisco
is a technology magazine targeted towards local area networking users,
managers, manufacturers, executives, and distributors. The magazine
examines new products, technology and industry trends, and productivity
resources. In the April 1995 issue of LAN Magazine, fourteen TCP/IP
products were tested by Tom Henderson, vice president of engineering for
Unitel, which is based in Indianapolis and Mike Robbins, research
associate for Unitel's Beach labs subsidiary. The products were reviewed
based upon breadth, completeness, ease of installation, and
configurability.

TCP/IP, and X-Windows product for the Microsoft Windows environment.

include an Internet Organizer for easy access to Internet resources,
Internet newsreader, Drag & Drop File Transfer, Terminal Emulation, MIME
Multimedia Email, FAX Client/Server, Network Printing, and complete UNIX
Connectivity with X-Windows and NFS.

Frontier Technologies' SuperHighway Access is the only product which today

Telnet! SuperHighway Access is the only product available which offers
