No need to come unstuck making labels with Smart 'n Sticky

Cheshire, England - March 15, 1995 - Oakley Data Services today announced
the release of their newest product in the Smart range, Smart 'n Sticky.

Smart 'n Sticky is a powerful MDI (multi-window) based labeling package for
the Microsoft Windows environment designed with the aim of combining
power, flexibility and ease of use. The flexibility comes from the
program's ability to combine any Windows supported fonts in almost any
style, Bitmaps, Metafiles, date and time fields, serial numbers, fields
imported from databases or ASCII files and others to produce almost any
label imaginable. The power comes from Smart 'n Sticky's implementation as
a FULL OLE CLIENT which means you can add to your labels objects produced
by any OLE server including graphics from the likes of Corel Draw, fancy
text from MS WordArt, Serif TypePlus and similar type manipulation
packages, spreadsheets from Excel, even complete Microsoft Word documents!
If Smart 'n Sticky doesn't itself provide the design capabilities you need
it is almost certain that somewhere there is an OLE server that will, and
you may well have it already as a great many popular packages already
implement OLE. The ease of use comes from reference to the standard
Windows interface and anyone familiar with simple desk-top publishing will
feel right at home here, but of course there is comprehensive help
available.

"This is really Desk Top Publishing for Labels", said Colin Messitt, senior
partner with Oakley Data Services, the UK based authors. "In fact you
don't have to use it just for labels, it's good for designing almost
anything. We have seen it used for a mailshot using personalized posters,
and for creating business cards using the popular micro-perforated
business card stock now available. Performance is important as well, and
written in a compiled and optimized language Smart 'n Sticky really
flies."

time, and cut copy and paste between labels is supported via the
