March 7, 1995 -- ROCKVILLE, MD -- CD-MAX, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary

system for CD-ROM information has been selected for display at the

The NDL's director, Jacqueline Hess, invited CD-MAX, Inc. to demonstrate

most innovative and well thought out technological to this important
problem."

Robert A. Wiedemer, president of CD-MAX, Inc., said, "We're gratified by
the NDL's and the Library of Congress's interest in our technology. The
NDL is perhaps the most prestigious venue possible for the debut of
CD-MAX. I'm excited by the chance to show how our encryption and metering
system can make more CD-ROM titles available to customers, in addition to
raising revenues for publishers."

Pamela H. Stein, manager of new produce development/marketing at Standard &
Poor's, added: "Standard & Poor's looks forward to working with a firm as
innovative as CD-MAX, INc. We feel this exhibit at the NDL should assist

media form.

Her thoughts are echoed by Janice McCallum, director of product management
for DIALOG Information Systems, "DIALOG is pleased to be joining CD-MAX
and Standard & Poor's to place one of our high value OnDisc products at
the NDL. We hope this exposure will increase awareness of the benefits
that new technologies add to traditional business reference tools, and in
