QSSI INTRODUCES CLIENT/SERVER WAREHOUSE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

PowerHouse/WMS Features Windows Graphic Interface And Optimizes Work Flow
To Bring New Power And Control To Warehouse Management

PISCATAWAY, NJ (March 20, 1995) -- QSSI (Quality Software Systems, Inc.)
today announced its new client/server system for automated warehouse
management. PowerHouse/WMS provides higher performance and data throughput
than conventional warehouse systems by directing mission-critical
functions to the more powerful "server" and relegating lower priority
tasks to "client" computers. The new system features Windows-based user
interface with familiar tool bars, icons and pull-down menus.
PowerHouse/WMS supports all major relational databases and operates on
virtually any other computer platform from PCs to mainframes.

Paul Gore, president of QSSI, said, "With PowerHouse/WMS we strived to
create not just a new system, but rather a whole new performance standard
for warehouse and materials handling management."

The improved performance is accomplished through more effective allocation
of system resources, added Gore. For example, high-priority tasks such as
radio-frequency (RF) picking and putaway are directed to the server, which
optimizes system response. Routine jobs such as inquiries, reporting,
exceptions and similar tasks are performed by client computers.

Wisconsin Public Service Corporation is first to install PowerHouse/WMS.
The $700 million gas and electric utility will use the new system to
control 15 distribution facilities. Dan Verbanac, Technical Design and
Innovation Manager at the utility's Information Systems Department, said,
"Having successfully moved to client/server systems in other departments,
we wanted the same level of performance for our distribution centers.
QSSI's PowerHouse/WMS is the first to offer all benefits of client/server
in a standard, off-the-shelf-system for warehouse applications."

PowerHouse/WMS supports Oracle, Sybase, DB2 and Informix relational
databases and operates on high-performance PCs, workstation, mini or
mainframe computer. Key features include table-driven options which
minimize customization and dramatically lower implementation cost.
PowerHouse/WMS provides platform and database flexibility and
comprehensive functions for managing the warehouse facility, inventory,
labor utilization and management visibility.

PowerHouse/WMS is available now. Software pricing begins at $80,000 for up
to 25 users.
